I did Nielsen a couple times years ago. Back then, my son and I used to follow the ratings the way people followed baseball scores. It was a fun little hobby. I can’t stand modern programming now. All sports are woke and the commercials too.
Streaming is a nice way to avoid that if you like old stuff. There’s plenty out there and I don’t mind who knows I watch old British shows like “Time Team” or old comedy reruns.

They know the numbers live as it is happening.
I saw a show where the guy was tracking the tv commercial response for their product in real time.
Nielson has to be doing this.
Every cable system does this too.
