If you get back in the weeds, there are mountain man rendezvous gatherings. (What’s the plural of rendezvous?). Lots of trappers and black powder enthusiasts. One guy had a hat made out of about a dozen rats, tails and all. Noses sewn together at the crown, tails hanging all around the edge.
