Given the patterns of the Tea Party Movement and their way of making statements, I tend to agree with you there.
Good question, however Ashli was attempting to enter a barricaded area through the broken window. Not saying right or wrong...I just know I wouldn't do that.
Think about it. The door/windows are barricaded from the inside. Chaos all around, adrenaline pumping, evacuations underway for fear of violence, people smashing windows/furniture...and you're the cop on the inside of the barricade.
Back against the wall, ordered to protect whomever behind the barricade...you then see someone breaching the shattered glass and barricade.
Just setting the scenario. I don't believe they should have used deadly force, that was over the top, but again as I said in another post...these capitol police/white house secret service and who ever else charged with guarding stuff around D.C. are NOT playing around.
If it were me...yea, I probably one have been inside the building myself hoping to call Pelosi a corrupt loony politician, but when people started busting stuff up...i’d had been looking for the exit cuz I’dda known it was about to get real.
Is Secret Service allowed to wear gold watches? I'd think they'd use a more useful watch.
This execution has a lot of circumstantial similarity to the George “Fentanyl” Floyd murder.
Each was (maybe) associated with a minor criminal offense (resisting arrest vs trespassing). In each, there was no danger to the killer LOE. And both were totally nonsensical and unnecessary.
Given the fact that all media is already shoveling dirt on the event, the President should ramp it up and draw attention to this.
Have this veteran buried at Arlington National Cemetery with full honors.
Add to that a White horse-drawn cemetery procession on a par with the George Floyd burial event would set media hair on fire.
Maybe even attendance with Donald J himself. Only a 1 minute helicopter ride across the river to stop in and pay respects...

It was the entrance to the Speaker’s Lobby, which had been barricaded. In the background of the shooter, a few people could be seen crossing the hall. Perhaps they were in the process of evacuating members and staff.

If he’s a cop he won’t be prosecuted if he was adhering to procedure, but trying to get close enough to a woman already subdued by a bunch of cops to shoot without hitting the cops before zipping off again is not proper procedure in any book. I doubt any cop would do that, I’m betting it was some poly sci major on someone’s staff

What idiot security plan would have evacuated Queen Nancy to that location? Certainly that plan would go to a more secure armored/reinforced location with professional security staffing and weaponry, not some trigger happy jackass with a handgun.
Maybe this guy was assigned to shoot to kill anyone that even attempted to approach Nancy’s liquor cabinet or royal freezer with the month’s supply of gourmet ice cream.
Other folks crossing the hall in the background proves there was no perceived deadly threat on the other side of the barricaded doorway.

Apparently that one guy was a medic. He knelt down beside her and immediately removed supplies from his backpack. The police on the stairs tried to assist him. Haven’t you watched the video?

GOD has turned the unbelieving, GOD rejecting world over to its DEPRAVED MINDS. He has said, this is what you want, then this is EXACTLY what you shall receive. The way he kind of lunged forward to shoot was not exactly shooting stance. But emotion and adrenaline running high. I can’t believe that bullet didn’t go through and hit someone else.
Which member of Congress killed her? Which member was armed when We, the People, can’t be armed inside our buildings? I only saw people armed with phones.
I can only hope marxist’s biden/harris are treated the same way Trump has been treated the last 4 years. Obviously the left will treat him like mao reincarnated but at least half this country should never accept them as duly elected.
