The unspeakable, duplicitous cowardice of the Republicans in Congress
American Thinker ^ | 28 Dec, 2020 | Patricia McCarthy

Posted on 12/28/2020 5:08:25 AM PST by MtnClimber

So anxious to go along to get along with the establishment they were oh, so comfortable with, they have been, and are willing to betray their constituents to regain their access to power and money.

While there are a few exceptions who need to be celebrated – Ted Cruz, Ron Johnson, Matt Gaetz and Jim Jordan to name the most prominent of the heroes, the rest of the republicans in Congress are abject cowards. So anxious to go along to get along with the establishment they were oh, so comfortable with, they have been, and are willing to betray their constituents to regain their access to power and money. Forget representing the people; they represent themselves.

President Trump is the best man for the party to come along since Reagan and they are nearly all ready to throw him under the proverbial bus. It is disgusting. No conservative should ever again donate a dime to any of the traitors who claim to hold conservative values. Very few of them do. Even McConnell of the Senate and McCarthy of the House are working to undermine Trump’s legitimate attempt to expose the massive election fraud that took place on November 3rd.

Do these traitorous Republicans think we have short memories? That we will forget or not notice who among them are not fighting for the landslide victory that Trump clearly won? There are volumes of evidence that prove beyond all doubt that the Democrats cheated in the swing states. The left denies it, our judiciary, including the Supreme Court, is complicit in the crime of stealing the election. They too are cowards.

I sure hope history records their names as cowards for all time.

Senator Boozman and Senator Cotton turned out to be turncoats. Never thought Arkansas Republicans would sellout their constituents as they did for the Covid Stimulus Bill.

They are just as compromised/corrupt as the Democrats.

Congressman Westerman sure turned his back on the Arkansas voter. What a disappointment.

Incredibly, Cotton still has big fan club. Most folks just do not make time to decipher sophisticated beltway gaslighting. After Cotton’s service on the highly corrupt Senate intel committee there is no doubt in my mind he is another climbing phony.

The GOP fears the press. It’s that simple. The press hates them and they try to curry favor with them to keep from being lambasted and lampooned. With skin that thin they should never have run for Congress.

Believe me disinformation and propaganda works. It turns Republicans into important eunuchs. We need to figure out how to counter this and also how to make the GOP stand up for America.

Congressman Mike Kelly has been good too, but again, Jan 6th will tell if it was just posturing.

Well, do we b**ch about it or do we start making our “leaders” think that just perhaps someone might come and get them?

The left has plans and they execute them.
We just sit there and elect spineless turds that couldn’t plan a sit down on the Obama-appliance.

Sorry, folks, but all those spineless folks in our group that say we cannot do anything are apparently just closet progressives.

As for the Repulsican Party, there are only a few effective Republicans and they are led by Trump.

My theory in politics is to support your friends and ignore your enemies.

In that regard an email to Mo Brooks et al thanking them for taking their strong stand is worth much more than an email to Mitch McConnell.

The Republican Party is dying.

Most of it has already folded into the Uniparty of the Deep State swamp in DC.

They don't "represent" their constituents anymore. They represent themselves in the form of their own power and greed.

The wave of the future will be Trump's MAGA Party or whatever we end up calling it. Those few courageous Republicans that are in Trump's corner, will be the starting point.

All the rest are RINOs and might as well be called democRATS. The Romneys of the party. The cowards of the party.

To be honest, if Trump doesn't pull this thing out of the bag in the next few weeks, the Marxist democRATic Socialists will formally rig the elections from now on so that the Republicans or MAGAs will not have a chance in hell of regaining power.

Those of us out here in Red State Land can see the Republic slowly dying in front of our eyes. The forces of evil are arrayed against us.

I have come to realize they are not cowards. The only want to line their pockets and have their little power base this is why they do not want to take action. The do not care about the American people just like the Democrats.

Millions of Americans are without a source of income due to the covid malarkey, but not one elected congressperson or government employee seems to have missed a paycheck (whether they are currently doing anything productive or not). What better way for the alleged Republicans in the U. S. Senate to teach the government leaches what it is like to do without a check than to have voted against the Omnibus spending billand shut the government down? All members of congress should voluntarily forfeit there pay until the American workers are allowed to once again earn a living. They won’t because there is no honor among them.

So please tell me, WHAT DO WE DO ABOUT IT? Trump rallies are never covered fairly (if at all). Voting has not worked. It seems a losing battle when a Marxist education system is entrenched; the culture has been won over with the aid of media, big money, big tech, corrupt “science”, and we know about the swamp. I think even sympathetic representatives feel the battle is lost.
