I still can’t believe that “The Perfessor” is gone...

One of the all-time great musicians and lyricists, ever.

There are a lot of billionaires in this world. Plenty of disposable wealth.

Can’t pay people industry wage though. They need cheap foreign labor.

He was one of the first entries in my "What could possibly go wrong in 2020?" Bingo Card.

Btw, that card is totally full now. RIP Mr Peart.

I dont choke up too easily, but losing him AND then Eddie Van Halen... well... yeah. You know...

I’ve been a guitarist since I was a teen. Rush and VH were part of my life.

My dad saw them open for KISS which I found interesting. This was the infamous interview where Geddy Lee said he saw Gene Simmons had an orgy with 10 women, for which Gene offered women to Rush and they refused. Gene then said “are you guys gay?” XD

I saw them twice (late 90’s) and the last was with Primus.

I’ve been a Rush fan for a very long time. It was really sad to see Neil Peart go.
I’ve seen several of their live shows, and boy, are they fantastic.

Yeah, I saw them on that tour when it rolled through Sacramento too. I love Primus.
Check out the one-off release Oysterhead with Les Claypool, Stuart Copeland and Trey Anastasio. It’s a great album. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oysterhead
