My mind read the headline so fast, what I first read was:

I’m surprised they bothered. This kind of stuff can happen with the classic Presto pressure cooker as well. I do not understand the hype regarding these Jetsons-age pressure cookers. I have the basic Presto with the cylindrical weight, and it’s worked well for decades.

Sunbeam advised against using the recalled crockpot in pressure cooker mode... I didn't even know there was such a thing. A multi-tasking slow cooker with a speedy nuke-em-under-pressure mode. What could go wrong?
