A list of the African-Americans currently serving in the 114th Congress. There are 46 black members in the House of Representatives and 2 in the Senate.

The Senate includes 100 members, with each of the 50 states electing two senators to this body of Congress to six-year terms. The House of Representatives has 435 members, with each of the 50 states electing varying numbers of legislators according to the size of their population.

They don’t count Kamala as black? The two senators Sr are Booker and Scott

Kamala is NOT black. She is 1/2 Jamaican & 1/2 Indian (dot).

Relevance? At least two have died. Ellison is MN’s AG. Many are still high-profile buffoons.

I agree, I don’t know why the black community has accepted her black act when she claimed her Indian heritage when she went into the senate.
