I was under the impression that you had to ask the courts to re-instate your voting rights if you are a convicted felon. I know that was/is the case in AZ.

I saw this posted on FB: “Bloomberg announces he is putting up 16 MILLION DOLLARS to pay the fines FELONS in Florida owe before they can vote. The FELONS should have to PAY INCOME TAX on that money!”

He can give his money to whomever he wants, but he should have to actually give the money to the felons (not pay the fines directly to the court). Then let’s see how many of those felons pay the fines versus use the money for whatever they consider to be more important (drugs, booze, women...).
