LINDSEY VONN'S two dogs had to be taken to the vets after they chased a PORCUPINE.
The Olympian's beloved pooches were left with sharp quills impaled in their faces after the incident.
Vonn, 35, regularly shares pictures of her three dogs called Lucy, Leo and Bear.
Lucy, who once joined her on the ski slope, managed to keep out of trouble this weekend.
But Vonn's other two dogs decided to try their luck against a porcupine - and soon regretted it.
The three-time Winter Olympic medallist - who dated Tiger Woods for two years - shared a photograph of the aftermath.
Alongside the image, she wrote: "So... my boys got into some trouble over the weekend.
"They ran out of the house and chased after a porcupine... as boys do.
"Incredible thankful that they are ok.
"I also greatly appreciate my family and friends for helping them make it home safe and they love and care that they got from White Pine Vet!

Most likely, she let her dogs go off leash in a place where a leash was required.
I’ve seen a quilled dog before, lost an eye. They don’t look happy....
I took dog to the vet for this once. $600. Next time was the plyers. Then they got into to the porcupines every other year instead of every two weeks.
Quick... to Doctor Pols office.
and the poink sound effect when he pulls each one out
I once saw a program on Animal Planet (or one of those channels) that showed how a porcupine jams its quills into the face of an animal. A robot dog was used, which moved towards the rear of the porcupine, and the porcupine promptly used its tail to slap the robot dog’s face hard.
SJackson - Ping-Worthy Thread?
Must have pictures of the whole Vonn thing.
Mt dog used to chase at horses until one got him in the ribs with a well aimed kick. He never bothered them again.
“He lost part of his ear in a bar fight.”
Did he win at least?
A robot dog ... I love it!
Always! He bonked his opponent with one of his many trophies which the bar keeps on display for him! ;)
You know, like Bowling and Softball Trophies - back when we were ALLOWED to congregate and PARTICIPATE in LIFE?!?!
I’ve seen far worse. Mrs. C works in a veterinary clinic here in Southeast Alaska. Dogs get into porcupines all the time. Repeatedly. They never learn
Should have been her.
More Trump Curse aftershocks?
Gee whiz. This used to happen to our dogs all the time.
The trick is to clip the ends off the quills so they deflate - then pull ‘em out after maybe a few hours.
Oh I LOVE Dr Pol, the best Vet! He deals with porcupine attacks all the time, those pups never win, the porcupine always ends up winning
LOL!! That’s what I’m talkin’ about!!
