“Signs wired to trigger lawn sprinklers, strobe lights, a loud siren and videocam would be kinda fun, too.”

As long as it was also wire to 240 volts. (Especially getting a video of the reaction).

I know that setting up a shotgun at the front door and tied to the door is illegal - in case a fireman or cop needs to enter the home to help someone. I wonder if the same applies to a yard sign.

The key here will be if she was ON the property, and if NC allows force, up to lethal, in defense of property. Otherwise the dude is lucky he’s only getting misdemeanor assault.

I shoot a .177 in competition an the rifle will inflict great bodily injury or death if directed at the right area of a body. I’ve regularly shot flys with it at up to 40 yards so with skill it’s easy to hit those areas.

The real long term downside of people doing this will be political parasites sniffing potential restrictive legislation to push.
