President Trump on Wednesday suggested supporters in North Carolina should illegally attempt to vote both by mail and in person, saying doing so would test the integrity of the system.
Asked by reporters whether he trusted North Carolina's mail-in balloting system, the president responded, "Let them send it in, and let them go vote, and if their system's as good as they say it is, then obviously they won't be able to vote. If it isn't tabulated, they'll be able to vote."
"If it's as good as they say it is, then obviously they won't be able to vote. If it isn't tabulated, they'll be able to vote. So that's the way it is. And that's what they should do," he added. Voting more than once in the same election is illegal.
The president has frequently attacked mail-in voting as rife with fraud, even as experts have said there is minimal evidence to support such claims. He has also often drawn a distinction between mail-in and absentee voting, the latter of which he has called acceptable. Many states do not make such a distinction. Both Trump and first lady Melania Trump requested absentee ballots to vote in the Florida primary earlier this year.
The Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee are currently suing several states for moving to expand access to mail-in balloting during the coronavirus pandemic. Such lawsuits are currently pending in states including Nevada, New Jersey and Montana.

I don’t see any problem with voting Republican ticket in 2020.

If the Biden supporting postal workers dump the mail in ballots from Trump voters in the garbage (which they will), of course they should be able to go and vote on election day. They should go and vote anyway irrespective.
If they refuse you on the in-person because they got it from the mail, then you can’t vote more than once.
It’s not a bad idea. Send in a mail-in or absentee ballot and then go to the polls and vote again. Your vote might be counted twice or one could get tossed, but there is no real harm and no federal laws are violated.
Measure once. Vote twice.

In 2008 I saw MANY youtube videos of Obama voters claiming they voted 20 times for Obama..a few said they voted 40 times for Obama..just went from polling place to polling place, no asking for any ID, nothing..so yes it happens all the time
He was saying to go to the polling station and see if your mail-in ballot was counted.
It seems to work in normal elections with absentee ballots around 1% of the total, but I have no idea if the system will be able to handle it this year.
Also, absentee ballots have to be postmarked by election day and received within a week after election to be counted.
If the system works and is fair you won’t get to vote twice. If it’s not, well, Republicans have to play on that field.
Why would you wait for that? They cut away TO Hannity, Tucker, Laura etc, who all seemed to consider what they had to say ABOUT what the speakers were saying than what the speakers were saying.

My liberal sister in law is totally outraged that our President would suggest doing something that is illegal - voting twice.
And I heard the President’s words and have to admit I was a bit taken aback that he would make such a suggestion.
Am open to any and all explanations.
