Interstate travel with intent to comit a crime is a Federal matter .
Coming to a scene via commercial bus indicates close physical proximity, whereas travel by airline indicates greater distance and significant financial and timely interest.
The fact that such actions may be coordinated makes it an organized crime issue, and subject to RICO laws.

I flew into Chicago last Thursday and there were 2 young people together dressed in mostly black. The guy was black and the woman white. The guy’s t-shirt said “Kill racism now”. Why “kill” instead of “end”? They were not friendly when I smiled and I wondered if they were traveling to Chicago for a reason. There were probably more and I just didn’t notice. I thought the shirt was possibly code.
