Simple enough for Democrats to Understand
NYTimes, The Hill, Fox and others | 8/20 | Self

Not that this will change any opinions in the two camps but can we look at what really happened to this administration with an honest eye? Hillary Clinton and the DNC paid for a former British Spy to gather dirt on Donald Trump in the effort to win the election while smearing his campaign and potential administration. They paid for this through their DC law firm Perkins Coie. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/10/25/us/politics/steele-dossier-trump-expained.html The dossier was based upon ‘a Russian’ contact that was classified and hidden for years from scrutiny. Unfortunately, the “Russian Contact’ Igor Danchenco is really a Ukrainian that lives and works in the US. “Mr. Danchenko was on the payroll of Mr. Steele’s investigative firm, Orbis Business Intelligence, in London. He also worked at the Brookings Institution.” So, Steele’s Russian source was working for him and the leading democratic ‘think tank’ while living in Washington DC (he earned degrees at the University of Louisville and Georgetown University). https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2020/jul/26/igor-danchenko-outed-steele-dossier-source/ When interviewed by the FBI in January 2017, Danchenko discredited the information and outright stated that Steele attributed things that he did not say. “After that interview, high-level FBI agents, as well as FBI and DOJ leadership, knew beyond all doubt that there was no “well-developed” conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Russia. All investigations afterward, including the Mueller investigation, were political, had no criminal basis, and caused years of fear and loathing of Trump.” https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/crossfire-hurricane-should-have-ended-the-moment-igor-danchenko-discredited-the-steele-dossier Yet, in order to continue the investigation, they set upon Carter Page. Targeting Page was necessary to get a FISA warrant to ‘backdoor spy’ on the Trump administration. The sitting President was being targeted by the FBI. Carter Page, who had graduated with distinction from the U.S. Naval Academy and served as an intelligence officer in the Navy, also worked for the CIA. He wrote a letter to James Comey stating that he worked for the CIA. But the FBI wanted a warrant, so even though the CIA confirmed that Page did in fact work for them, FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith fabricated evidence to put before the FISA court that Page “was NOT a source” for CIA. The exact opposite of what he was told by the CIA. https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/connecting-the-dots-in-clinesmiths-russiagate-guilty-plea/ This fabrication was necessary because the FISA court would not have approved the spying on a US citizen, if they knew the origin of the Steele dossier or the fact the citizen worked for the CIA. “Former acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe admitted in 2017 testimony released Thursday that the FBI was unable to “prove the accuracy” of the so-called Steele dossier, which was famously used to obtain surveillance warrants for former Trump campaign aide Carter Page.” Questioned on former British spy Christopher Steele reporting on Page, McCabe was asked: "You don't know if it's true or not?" "That's correct,” McCabe replied. Now, we know that the evidence was both ‘unverified’ and “fabricated”. J. Edgar Hoover would be proud. Shockingly, Clinesmith went to work for the Mueller team.

Good news is that yesterday, Clinesmith plead guilty to “intentionally falsifying a document” that was used to get a warrant in a DC Federal Court. Clinesmith is likely rolling over on his buddies now to save himself. But I don’t hold my breath that there will be accountability. https://thehill.com/regulation/court-battles/512750-clinesmith-pleads-guilty-in-first-criminal-case-stemming-from-durham

All of this was done because a corrupt Washington DC establishment didn’t want an outsider messing with their game or holding them accountable (follow the trillions). We are to believe that the problem in DC is the one guy, who was never in politics before, and not the entrenched bureaucracy that feeds off the taxpayer’s dollars. Look at the wealth on both sides of the aisle of elected officials and professional policital hacks that never made more than $250,000 per year? It’s a uniparty of corruption.

The actual actions and activities are much worse than this simple outline posits. More players and many, many more devious underhanded actions. Washington only cares about Washington. There is no hope, if an outsider President can’t bring them to heel.

BTW- Even a British court found Steele to be full of ‘malarkey’.

Just read Blitz by Daniel Horowitz.

It brings to light the evil in Washington D.C. Thieves, most of them. The three years of Trump (out of eight!!) are going to be back breaking for those who are on the receiving end of largess dollars from taxpayer’s wallets.

A must read and book to back the left’s manic foggy beliefs.

Whoa- paragraphing spaces between paragraphs is your friend, FRiend!

I had to copy and paste and rework in order to read it. I hope you don’t mind if my copy now looks like this:
_____________________________________________________

Not that this will change any opinions in the two camps, but can we look at what really happened the whole Russian Collusion Scandal with unbiased eyes?

Hillary Clinton and the DNC paid Christopher Steele to gather dirt on Donald Trump in the effort to win the election while smearing his campaign and potential administration. Steele, who was a former MI5 agent, was paid for this through their law firm Perkins Coie. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/10/25/us/politics/steele-dossier-trump-expained.html

Steele claimed he had obtained the dossier through a Russian contact that was classified and hidden for years from scrutiny. That contact, Igor Danchenco, was a Ukrainian in the USA. He is an employee of Orbis Business Intelligence, which is owned by Steele. He also worked at the Brookings Institution. Thus, the Russian source lived in Washington and was working for both Steele and the leading Democratic think tank. washingtontimes.com/news/2020/jul/26/igor-danchenko-outed-steele-dossier-source/

When interviewed by the FBI in January 2017, Danchenko discredited the information and outright stated that Steele attributed to him things that he did not say. From that point forward, the FBI and DOJ knew there was no well-developed conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Russia. All investigations afterward, including the Mueller investigation, were political and had no criminal basis. https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/crossfire-hurricane-should-have-ended-the-moment-igor-danchenko-discredited-the-steele-dossier

To continue the investigation, the FBI and DOJ targeted Carter Page. Targeting Page was necessary to get a FISA warrant as a backdoor to spy on the Trump administration. Page graduated with distinction from the Annapolis and served as an intelligence officer in the Navy. At the time of the investigation, he worked for the CIA. He wrote a letter to James Comey stating that he worked for the CIA. At this point, FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith fabricated evidence to put before the FISA Court that claimed Page was not a CIA asset.
https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/connecting-the-dots-in-clinesmiths-russiagate-guilty-plea/

Fabricating evidence was necessary because the CIA cannot spy inside the US. Therefore, if Page worked for the CIA then even if the information was credible, it could not be used. If FISA had known the source was from the CIA, they would not have issued a warrant. Furthermore, then FBI director McCabe admitted that the FBI was unable to prove the accuracy of the Steele dossier. When questioned on former British spy Christopher Steele reporting on Page, McCabe was asked: “You don’t know if it’s true or not?” “That’s correct,” McCabe replied. https://thehill.com/regulation/court-battles/512750-clinesmith-pleads-guilty-in-first-criminal-case-stemming-from-durham

Now, we know that the evidence was both unverified and fabricated. J. Edgar Hoover would be proud. Shockingly, Clinesmith went to work for the Mueller team. The good news is that yesterday, Clinesmith plead guilty to intentionally falsifying the document used to obtain a warrant in a DC Federal Court. Clinesmith is likely rolling over on his buddies now to save himself. But I don’t hold my breath that there will be accountability.

All of this because a corrupt Washington DC establishment didn’t want an outsider messing with their game or holding them accountable (follow the trillions). We are to believe that the problem in DC is the one guy, who was never in politics before, and not the entrenched bureaucracy that feeds off tax-dollars. Look at the wealth on both sides of the aisle of elected officials and professional political hacks that never made more than $250,000 per year? The uniparty is the party of corruption.

The actual actions and activities are much worse than this simple outline posits. Washington only cares about Washington. There is no hope if an outsider President can’t bring them to heel.

BTW- Even a British court found Steele to be full of malarkey and ordered Steele to pay for the libel: https://www.wsj.com/articles/christopher-steeles-firm-ordered-in-u-k-to-pay-damages-to-russian-bankers-11594247095

The FBI was attempting to investigate a sitting president to preserve the bureaucratic gravy train.

Thank you. It was formatted like that when I pasted it but I should have reviewed spacing prior to clicking off. Frustrating that some of our fellow citizens can’t see what is right before their eyes.
