(CNSNews.com) – Addressing the virtual Democratic National Convention on Monday night in support of Joe Biden’s presidential candidacy, Sen. Bernie Sanders said that his own now-suspended campaign had “moved this country in a bold new direction,” adding that that many ideas considered radical just a few years have become mainstream.
“Our campaign ended several months ago, but our movement continues and is getting stronger every day,” he said. “Many of the ideas we fought for, that just a few years ago were considered ‘radical,’ are now mainstream.”
“But, let us be clear,” Sanders continued, “if Donald Trump is re-elected, all the progress we have made will be in jeopardy.”
After Sanders suspended his campaign and endorsed Biden, the two announced joint “task forces” involving members of their respective staffs, focusing on six policy issues – immigration reform, climate change, health care, criminal justice, education, and the economy – in an effort to ensure that Biden embraces issues of importance to progressives.

Only Sanders believes his ideas are mainstream. Screaming as you walk down the street might get you on the news and get you a lot of attention on our moronic social media platforms, but it isn’t mainstream.
That said, there have always been plenty of folks who believe his hooey. Some will benefit wildly from it like Bernie has, the others are too dumb to realize they are being played.

Cut cable tv. You write a check for cable tv, you are slitting your own throat.
Stop buying national name brand products. The national name brand advertising funds the media. Go generic/local where possible. This includes restaurants. Stay away from the chains. Go to the little storefront mom and pop restaurant instead. Keep buying their products/services, you are slitting your own throat.
Find alternative social media. NO google, twitter, facebook.
No “woke” sports. Let the leagues die. The sports will come back with new “unwoke” leagues.
No Hollywood movies.
Vote with your wallet everyday. If we do not disrupt our lives to fight back, they win.

I take the opposite position. How an idea is viewed is a function of the viewer. The liberals have brainwashed millions of viewers.

They’re ‘mainstream’ in that, ONLY the MSM pushes these views and ideas into public notice. It’s THEIR currency and they can’t get viewers unless they sensationalize everything they ‘report’.
