I like the idea of a Patriot League. Although not a sports fan I’d watch just to support.

Bingo! These leagues think they are the sport. And they are not.
Yet the elite athletes are exempt from the effects of their chosen ideology.
Socialism/Communism is for the little people not the Socialist/Communist.
