Yes, I forgot to mention, definitely check your zinc levels. Zinc is essential, and should be taken (perhaps as a lozenge) at the first sign of a cold/coronovirus—especially Covid-19. If Dr. Fauci truly wants to end this epidemic, he should talk about boosting immunity, at least as much as he talks about masks.

My hubby, who is in a service industry and thus “front line”, was actually taking too much, for someone who does not have the virus. He really wanted to stay well, as we have a medically fragile family member. This also motivates me to try and find the best, most accurate information.

You need a balance, as too little and you will have weakened immune system—but with too much zinc, you also lower your immune system. For whatever it is worth, “According to the Office of Dietary Supplements (ODS, https://ods.od.nih.gov/factsheets/Zinc-HealthProfessional/), an excessive intake of zinc can cause zinc toxicity. This toxicity can cause gastrointestinal discomfort and, when chronic, may also disrupt the balance of other chemicals in the body, including copper and iron.”

As far as I can tell, most people are NOT getting enough zinc from their diet. Ask your doctor, but for what it is worth, check out WebMD:https://www.webmd.com/vitamins-and-supplements/supplement-guide-zinc#1. Personally, I am taking near the upper limit daily, and will take much more if I get symptoms of illness (as my body will use more zinc).

Tx. I forgot to mention avocado oil (flavonoids), avocado tree leaves extract (also green tea) for quercetin.
