Realtors report that “tech workers and investors in the Bay Area, as well as media types from Los Angeles,” are fleeing their own political policies.
This is exactly how the left-wing locusts work. They vote and vote and vote and vote Democrat until a blue state becomes unlivable, and then they swarm into a purple state like Nevada or to a former red state like Colorado, turn it blue, and the destructive cycle starts all over again.
Hearing that “media types” are fleeing Los Angeles makes me want to say out loud, Well, well, well…
Why in heaven’s name would a “media type” flee Los Angeles, a city that is wholly owned by one party, and not just Democrats, but far-left Democrats who face no opposition whatsoever by Republicans? Should Los Angeles not be the Progressive Utopia these godforsaken “media types” have spent decades fighting for?
The only good news in this is that the locusts are so desperate to flee they are over-paying for homes, sight unseen.
“People are writing all-cash offers for houses, sight unseen,” a local realtor told CNBC. “They just want to get out of the city.”
I bet they do.

LA people buy houses in the mountains and bring the landscaper slave class with them (”I just couldn’t live without Juan”).
The previously non-existent town of Hideout, Utah is basically a slave quarters for illegals the LA trash brought with them.

Perhaps they could be allowed to apply as refugees in red states. i.e. no voting in red state elections because blue states do not recognize the U.S. Constitution as law of the land.

That is NOT good news for the people living in small towns who are priced out of the real estate market. This is happening all over the country with hordes of rich people fleeing their liberal utopias for small towns.
This is how they always do it. I found watching LivePD such an education! Democrats voted democrat for the GIVAWAYS. Then they simply ignore all the regulations that come along with the nanny state, act stunned when they get expected to live with unlivable rules.
They just go along living years without obeying a single rule conservatives faithfully follow, and complain about - because we are people of order! You can see them - “Oh, I’ve never had a license, I’ve been driving years without one!”
Amazing...And I would agree, people by the thousands are bailing out of these big nasty cities. What other explanation could there be?

That’s hardly getting out of the state. What are they proving by moving to Truckee? CA is still taxing them. Would they be able to get a foothold for their progressive politics in Truckee? Doubtful.
If the point was moving out of the state, then yes, that might make sense but to Truckee or any other city IN the state does not make sense but hey, that’s the norm today!
They’re locusts, swarming into one place, devastating it then flying off to find another.
The Democrats are in control here and have made no secret of the fact that what they have been doing to trash this state will be accelerated.
Going to Tennessee and bringing our 2nd Amendment conservative leave me the hell alone votes, and tax dollars, with us.
