Having been in Harry’s physical store (10 years ago) there were tools left over from the early 1900s that were waiting to be sold! (Just a few!)
I will look at the on line store next time I need something.

At this time, about 75% of our current product lineup is made in Taiwan, 19% in the United States, and 5% in China. You can find the country of origin for every tool on Tekton.com by scrolling to the bottom of the product page and referring to the “Specs” section.
Buy used high end tools.
Not a sarcastic comment.

Yep, its amazing the HIGH quality tools you can get 2nd hand at excellent prices. Judging by the minimally (if at all) used condition of these tools their initial owners were likely middle class homeowners who bought them for a one time product.
The torque wrenches are not bad. Every one I have is within a couple pounds of accurate.
The ‘step drills’ are a great deal. I have a set of 3 that are 10 years old and still work well...use them almost daily.
If it uses power or has plastic anywhere on it expect garbage.
Some of it is good but we call it CHINA FREIGHT for a reason.
If youre buying stuff from harbor freight then thats your problem. They sell cheap crap.
The correct name for that store is China Freight.
Who would buy these from Harbor Freight? Someone with a death wish, perhaps.
I would not buy anything safety related there, but it's a nice place to pick up an odd tool that I may need for just a single job, and if it lasts longer, great. If not, no problem.
I broke three wood clamps purchased from Home Depot that were branded with an American Company name. They were all made in China.
Anywhere to get hose nozzles and hises that last more than 2 weeks? I used to expect (silly me) more than one season...then it became at least a season...now...6 weeks would be a miracle.

Most American tools companies have been bought up and are made in China now. Only the name remains.
I used to buy only Irwin vice grips. They were the best. Since they are made in china now they are no better than the cheap ones. The best place to buy tools now is auctions and garage sales. You can still occasionally find old school American tools.

Are you trying to say that a 4” angle grinder that costs nine bucks might not be of the highest quality? SHOCKING!!!!
Yes, their electric tools are junk.

Thanks for the link. I ordered an 8-function electronic multi-tool!
SK Tools.
I was given one of those cheap Chinee multimeters (the red one) and it was worthless.
You would have to pry my Fluke from my cold dead fingers.
Actually Flukes. I must have a half dozen of them by now. They are practically indestructible, but when they tell you not to go over a certain voltage, they really mean it! I found out the hard way.
I was there two months ago.
Have you ever been upstairs?
Glad to see Epsteins mentioned. I have bought from them for 35 years.
Remember the 6 inch socket on the floor? Its still there.
Best Laugh I have had in a week. Thanks.
Screw Tekton. That is Justin Amish the back stabbing RINOs family business.
