Please identify the healthy person under age 75 who has died from China virus.

OK, so the media has convinced Karen-America that we are all going to die. That it is not safe for kids to be in school. That we can't go to a baseball game. With that said....Could someone please identify any American who has DIED of COVID-19 and who, at the time of their death, was 1) under 80 years old AND 2) was reasonably healthy? Seriously. For you Twitter people, please tweet this out. I want names, locations, etc. No "urban legends" about someone's cousin. There must be newspaper articles out there of the COVID deaths involving the younger and healthy. Right?

The data has shown for a long time that the break point is in the mid 40s, as opposed to around 60s for the flu.

I’ll note that COVID has another break point in the late teens, under which only a handful appear to have died of it.

I’ll also note that a number of people that I know that have had it were seek for weeks to months before fully recovering. Most do much better than that.

All that said, there has been an extreme over-reaction.

“And you think it’s hysterical.”

Change “hysterical” to “pathetic”, and you’d be correct.

My nephew got it this week, and it is symptomatic. Hopefully no worse. He is quarantined at home alone, while wife and baby visited ILs. They are starting something but quarantining at ILs.

INTERESTING SIDE NOTE: he told me that he is OFFICIALLY 2 CASES!

Why? Because he caught it working in MD but lives in DE! So on the national count, he is 2 cases!

FYI a few weeks back my husband’s young employee caught it and it is not good. He is cystic fibrosis and he is damaged enough he needs a lung transplant. He’s written himself off. It’s so sad.

Thank you for posting this article. This is the second anecdote that has been posted involving two deaths in one family. It also reminded me of the funeral down in Albany, GA where a bunch of family members died who attended the funeral. My suspicion is that these COVID deaths were tied to genetic issues within those families. I guess my larger point is: Wouldn’t we be seeing these types of deaths all over the place?

“Maybe someone close to you will die.”

Here’s some news for you: Everybody dies.

That’s not the issue. Where they’ll spend eternity is what’s important.

Did they have underlying conditions? If so, what type? Thank you for your post. BTW, since you deal with COVID patients, perhaps you could post some of your observations? Thanks again.

Unless he was Mr.Z, you have no idea what pre-existing conditions he had.

No one really knows how many are dying of Covid. They are cooking the numbers so much that none of it is to be trusted. They call every death a Covid death now. People are still dying of other causes just like everyday before the Covid.

How would we ever know, with HIPAA?

But it is surely small, and below the moderate to bad flu level for at least those under 50.

Apparently could be handled with some simple, low-cost treatments that the diabolical Dem pols have gone out of their way to ban.

The PGA tour has re-opened with strict testing on a weekly basis (daily if positive). Their percentages seem to be hovering in the single digits and of those who have tested positive, several are well enough to compete (without playing partners) and three made the cut recently and are playing this weekend.

While entirely anecdotal, this is probably an indication of how widespread the virus is among healthy younger adults and how severe its impact once acquired (very non-severe, I play golf and I know if I had a bad case of the flu I would not be able to play at all). I’ve only seen one interview with any positive-test player who appeared to be in anything less than perfect medical condition and even so he’s playing this weekend.

I think the reality is this — COVID-19 is nasty if you get it and are not asymptomatic (as many seem to be), it could turn fatal if not promptly and effectively treated, it would likely be mild to un-noticeable for many, and it has been over-hyped to some extent, whether that’s a ridiculous or slight over-hype remains to be determined.

In Canada where Trump is not running for re-election, it’s much closer to a return to normalcy. In my small town of about four thousand people, I would say perhaps 100-200 are regularly wearing masks around the town, everyone else is not wearing, and following the social distance protocols — most businesses are open, and life feels almost but not quite normal. Across the magic border in WA state I gather the social atmosphere is a lot different, whether health risks are really that different however is anyone’s guess since nobody seems to know anyone or very many victims of the virus. Personally, I don’t know of anyone who caught it and my daughter in a large urban area says she knows two people out of perhaps a hundred social contacts. They both had a moderate flu-like illness that kept them at home for a week or two (in both cases fully recovered).

We all have our own anecdotal takes on COVID-19 but I sense it has been considerably oversold for political reasons.

Let's start to break the CCP deaths apart. The decreased died “of” or “with” corvid virus. Watch the death numbers tumble except in NY where Cuoma executed elderly.
