CDC has been doing studies and presenting analysis that is designed to hurt the President. They are laying out junk science, that is designed to discredit the President, and they are putting out reports that are designed to frighten the American people. They are leaking, they are talking to the media, and removing data from the website and doing whatever it takes to interrupt the Presidents coronavirus response.”
When the pandemic began, the CDC was using an antiquated system to track infectious disease. The official we spoke to told this reporter that the CDC was hesitant to upgrade their systems, and when the Trump Administration made the decision to move data collection from the CDC to HHS, the CDC removed all hospitalization data from their website indiscriminately, and not at the direction of HHS or anyone else, as has been insinuated elsewhere. CDC has been very political for a very long time. It is why they were stopped from doing overtly anti-Second Amendment "studies" in 1996, with the Dickey Amendment.
The Administrative State sees Donald Trump as a threat, because he takes the Constituion seriously. He is not just a figurehead.
It is not surprising they put defeating Trump ahead of the protection of the American people.
One of the powerful foundations of the Progressive theory of government is that "public health" overrides Constitutional guarantees.
It is why the Left attempts to make *everything* a "public health" issue. "Public health" is an Orwellian phrase that can be made to include everything. It can include what you eat, wear, read, watch, drive, and who you marry or associate with.

Earlier, I read an article that documented the political contributions of CDC employees. I’ll try to find the article and post the link.
Out of 8,000 employees, only 8 individuals contributed to GOP candidates.
The CDC is a pure leftwing political organization.
