Plimoth Plantation will change its name to better incorporate the history of the Native Americans who have long lived in the region.
A new moniker that will be “inclusive of the Indigenous history that is part of our educational mission” will be unveiled later this year, the living history museum said.

Whoa. I joked about that early on in the renaming hysteria. I didn’t think it would actually happen.
The Indians have always been part of the Plymouth colony story. This is a move to downplay the historical truth of the Pilgrim settlement, the first permanent European settlement in New England.
I suppose Jamestown will be next.

Genetic tests on various tribes around the countries show that their ancestors came from all those “stans” that prior to 1991 were know as Soviet Central Asia or the coast of China.

Next, Plymouth Rock will be renamed “Plymouth Stone” because “rock” is mentioned in the bible re the “rock of ages” and is therefore an attempt to inject religion into inanimate objects. /Big F**king SARC here.
