Thanks for the recommendation. I just put a hold on it at our local town library.
Netflix DVD has removed it from their library. It drives me nuts how many films they have taken out of their film library.

Angela Lansburt. Who can forget her?

I can't watch stuff like that. Just tell me that that Charles Boyer character dies a horrible death.
Even if he doesn't. Just tell me he does. That'll do wonders for my recovery.

Set in Victorian England - he would have been hanged.

Angela Lansbury is still alive. She’s 94, and will be 95 in October.
To: EvilCapitalist
What’s funny is that Angela Landsbury was only born three years before the actor who played her son in The Manchurian Candidate.

When I saw the reviews and the cast, I picked it for a nice movie to watch with my wife for our wedding anniversary. Wrong choice.

Really? It fascinates me that anybody would like a movie like that. Do you identify with one of the characters or what is it you like about it?
To: decal
Good. Hopefully he saw the error of his ways first.
To: Texas Eagle
Why would it fascinate you? It’s a well crafted and sensitive film.

The Boyer character just reminds me too much of someone who effed with my head. It brings back horrific memories.
To: Borges
Maybe if I watched it it would bring healing. What is so sensitive about it? Or are you being sarcastic?
