A ‘Karen’ WOULD be wearing a mask.
I seriously ran into that exact Karen this past weekend.
She was wearing a mask.
She was insisting that everybody follow the One way arrows that the grocery store put on the aisle floors.
I am sick of hearing that word, imagine using the name la keisha to describe a black woman who rants all the time? Oh that would be racist
In any cases, a REAL “Karen” is the LOUD-mouthed/annoying woman who criticizes others for doing the same things that she feels entitled to do. = HYPOCRITE is an appropriate one-word description of a wealthy Karen.
In my experience, a “REAL KAREN”
1. may be carrying a pistol in her purse BUT she doesn’t want anyone else to have one.
2. rants about people who don’t send their children to public school BUT sends her kids to expensive private schools.
3. drives a BIG Cadillac SUV but wants “low class people” to drive a small car.
4. rants about people “not helping the poor” but pays her maid below minimum wage.
5. gets “sloshed” at the country club 3-4 afternoons each week with her GF but wants all the bars closed, “to avoid spreading the virus’
and
6. Constantly complains “to the city fathers” about people smoking cigarettes in public but smokes marijuana & abuses prescription drugs herself.
(YES, I know all too many “Karens”, as I was once the City Marshal of a “upper class” small suburban town.)
