The mayor says she is done trying to negotiate with protesters after the girl's death
After a night of a dozen shootings, including one in which an 8-year-old girl was killed, Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms on Sunday said protesters could no longer occupy the Wendy’s where a police officer shot and killed Rayshard Brooks last month.
The girl, identified by police as Secoriea Turner, was killed not far from the scene where Brooks was shot on June 12, Atlanta’s Fox 5 reported, citing police.
Police said Turner was riding in a car with her mother and another adult when a group fired multiple times at the vehicle, hitting the girl.

I think that was Seattle not Atlanta. Of course all mayors of cities are a disaster.
I live 20 miles north of Atlanta and I didn’t even know “they” were still occupying the burnt out Wendys nor did I know one could even occupy a burnt out Wendys.
Seattle has some sort of 6 block occupation containing hundreds of buildings and Atlanta counters with some sort of half assed occupation of a bunt out Wendys?
That is embarrassing for somebody.

Armed “protesters” have been occupying the Wendy’s since the shooting and the burning of the Wendy’s.
If we had ANYONE who honored their oath to the Constitution, Obama would never have been able to usurp the office the Constitution says he may not hold.

What do they do about food and sanitation in a burned-out building? Should have shut off the power & water when it was burned. If they want to occupy it, put up a police cordon and don't let anyone out for 30 days. Almost as good as jail.
Nothing about exonerating officer Garrett Rolfe. Nothing about pulling the dogs off the Atlanta PD. Missy Bottoms doesn’t want to solve the problem. She just wants it to go away. Coward.

Or are they waiting for the community organizers and social workers to go on duty Tuesday morning after their briefing and coffee break?
Except that she has lost the Police Department which is why the violence is happening anyway. She can say she is “done” with negotiating, but what is next? What is she going to do? I’m sure she is feeling somewhat responsible for the 8 y/o girl getting murdered “peacefully”.
If she had gotten off her ass sooner, the 8 year old girl wouldn’t have died. This is on her hands.
