DETROIT – A violent confrontation happened Sunday night on Detroit’s southwest side.
Video from the scene captured a Detroit police SUV driving through a crowd, knocking several people to the ground. The video shows the police officer revving the engine, trying to get a protester off the vehicle before pressing on the gas and accelerating through the crowd.
One protester said the officer’s actions validate the protests and said the Detroit police “feels like they could do anything with impunity.”
“That’s why we march,” he said. “The police feel like their badge gives them the authority to do harm and damage under any circumstances.”
One witness said several people had to be hospitalized from collision.

I would have done the same damn thing except I wouldn’t have kept stopping to give people a chance to get out of the way. Their lives were in imminent danger. why would they think these animals would act different than any of the other animals across the country lately
These people are morons. They crowd around a vehicle, even climb on the hood, and then they’re outraged when vehicle moves and throws them off.
They act like animals and then they still say they’re the victims. Enough already.
They have George Soros money and billions from corporations to keep this going until election..

What do the “protesters” expect, if it was my vehicle, me driving i would have no concern for humans climbing on or beating on the car.

I was discussing the driving in a crowd scenario with my son who is a security consultant. He recommends that when faced with that problem that the driver slightly weaves the vehicle back and forth. It makes it harder for the crowd to grab on or jump on top.
I wanted the officer to floor it, come to a stop and jump out with a shotgun and sweep the street. He would have been totally justified in fearing for his life.

Only a fool would jump in front of a 4500 lb. police cruiser on its way to a call. That is what happens when you are being stupid. Police had the right of way.
