A top House Republican urged the chairman of the Democratic-led House Judiciary Committee to use Attorney General William Barrs planned July testimony as a chance to carry out oversight on the weaponization of the Obama Justice Department to target now-President Trump.
Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio sent a four-page letter to Chairman Jerry Nadler of New York on Friday, telling him he should take advantage of Barrs appearance to look into the alleged misdeeds conducted during the Trump-Russia investigation.
The Attorney Generals appearance is also an opportunity for the Committee to conduct oversight of the Obama-Biden Administrations weaponization of the Justice Department and intelligence community against the Trump campaign, Jordan wrote. In the past several months, we have learned shocking details about how the Obama-Biden Administration used its Justice Department and intelligence community to target the Trump campaign.
During a hearing that looked into Barrs alleged politicization of the Justice Department earlier this week, which included a focus on the prosecution of longtime Trump friend Roger Stone, Nadler claimed, Mr. Barrs actions make clear that in his Department of Justice, the presidents allies get special treatment, and the presidents enemies, real and imagined, are targeted for extra scrutiny.
"There is injustice at the Justice Department, ladies and gentlemen," he said, adding, The sickness we must address is Mr. Barrs use of the Department of Justice as a weapon to serve the presidents petty, private interests.

I’m sure that fat little troll will jump right on it.
Well that’s four pages that will only see Taco sauce drippings and fried chicken grease.
Good luck with that as its like me urging a St Trooper not to lock me up for DWI after a 12 pak and rearending someone aka a joke.
These procedural niceties are being to well have, irritated the crap out of me and it why we are failing.
No guts no glory
Jerry Nadler looks, sounds, acts exactly like the corrupt NY Senator who was Hyman Roth’s butt boy on the Senate committee investigation of Michael Corleone in the Godfather ,Part II. Sometimes life really does imitate art. Does any rational, decent person think that Nadler is anything more than a wimpy, corrupt tool?
This isn’t about Nadler its about the stupid useless request/leetr.
More BS window dressing
It isn’t going any where
He might as well piss into a hurricane and expect to stay dry....
I always thought he was a wimpy, corrupt, fat shitebag tool.
Jim Jordan is a real piece of work.
Richard Strauss was the doctor at Ohio State when Jordan was an assistant coach and was lockered next to the doctor, Strauss, that was accused of sexual misconduct during his years with OSU 1887-1995. It is reported by ex-wrestler, Mike DiSabato, one of the wrestlers that filed suit against Strauss and Ohio State said, “I considered Jim Jordan a friend. But at the end of the day, he is absolutely lying if he says he doesn’t know what was going on.” Strauss committed suicide in 2005.
In 2019, DiSabato shared text messages with NBC News that were corroborated by another former wrestler indicating that Jim Jordan, Russ Hellickson, and high school wrestling coach Jeff Jordan (Jim Jordan’s younger brother) conspired to engage in witness tampering and intimidation when they called Coleman and Coleman’s parents to pressure Coleman to recant his earlier accusation that Jordan was aware of the abuse. Jordan has refused to cooperate with investigations into Strauss.
He has a history of working behind the scenes. Can’t be trusted. This is another case of proof of his untrustworthiness.

Jabba the Nadler won’t look into any Democrat crimes.
Why are our GOP representatives so naive (I can’t say exactly what I wanted to say)?
Even the good guys are so ineffective in fighting the Dems.
(Huge sigh)
Betcha Rep. Jordan’s letter is already at the bottom of Nadler’s paper shredder. At least figuratively.
Yeah, right, Nadler is going to do everything he can to cover up the crimes of the Kenyanesian Usurpation.
