Moving Apple’s dozens of acres of manufacturing plants halfway across the planet is not like packing an overnight bag for a week-end trip to grandma’s house.
India and Vietnam would love to have Apple's manufacturing plants. I doubt anyone could make iPhones profitably in the US.
My point was that it takes TIME to shut down old plants and build new manufacturing plants.
Doesn’t matter what Navarro says. China must feed, house, clothe, and medicate over 1-billion people. China cannot succeed without us, but we can succeed without China if we have to. China must have a trade deal with the U. S. In the past the trading has always been in China’s best interest to the detriment of our interest. President Trump has changed the rules by not allowing China to dictate the rules. President Trump knows when to hold em, he knows when to fold em, and he knows when to walk away. We are in good hands.
