A Tennessee sheriff’s deputy posted a photo on Facebook of a sweet note he says he received from two women at a Nashville restaurant.

Sumner County Deputy Jody McDowell was eating breakfast at a Cracker Barrel near the Nashville airport when the server told him someone had paid for his food, according to WTVF.

McDowell said they left him a note that read: “BLM, but so does yours. Thank you for your service. Breakfast paid.”

Touched by the gesture, McDowell decided to thank them on social media, writing:

“I want to thank the two sweet black ladies who paid for my breakfast this morning. While waiting for a transport to be completed, I decided to have breakfast at a Cracker Barrel near the Nashville airport. I received this note from them.”

They will run this story repeatedly to brainwash everyone into believing BLM is not anti-white or anti-police.

This country is full of decent Christian black people who reject BLM and agree that ALL life matters.

I’m not convinced Freeman is actually like that.

But, good statement. We should STOP having this “conversation” which is one-sided and only leads to more acrimony. Starting with making little children “talk about it” in school. For some kids it never occurred to them to have trouble. Let it stay that way!

“But”?

It’s a minor point. I would have put “And”. However, a “but” also implies a repudiation of the exclusivity of “B” in BLM.

I’d like a clearinghouse of black views on this. How many are ambivalent or distant from this nonsense?

But as usual, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Or the violent wheel. So all companies have caved and are groveling in their rush to white-shame, never mind individuals and governors.

I’d like the alleged silent majority to start speaking up and refusing to be shouted down. Start countering these jackasses, in force as necessary, never mind words.

I think frankly for a lot of people the problem is sheer laziness.

Black Lives Matter as a PROPOSITION? Yes, universal agreement on that. They certainly do matter.

Black Lives Matter as an ORGANIZATION? Marxist wreckers who deny that any life that isn’t black matters? I think most people don’t look past the name frankly.

Everything we see in the media (except a few outlets) is propeganda designed to advance leftists. With that assumption, how to explain this particular story?

Simple. The 'defund the police' movement was a disaster for the democrats. Polling terrible with everyone except radical activists and dumb democrat politicians. At the same time that murder charge to the Atlanta cop was, I think, a game changer for the cops. Guy grabs a weapon from a cop and shoots it at him and cop defends himself - all on video. can there be a more open and shut 'righteous shoot? Nope, he gets murder charges because the mob wants a human sacrifice. The cops are now starting to show big city mayors (all democrats!) just how much they depend on the officers they've been demonizing to score some cheap PR points in the short term. And the public still wants cops, virtue signaling aside. All around disaster for democrats

So the dems huddled up with their media lapdogs and suddenly right on queue we see stories about cops and activists being pals. Trying to walk back the whole thing. But will it work? I think it's not enough to have a few puff pieces trying to show 'activists secretly like cops'. Cops are already fed up and quitting and/or mailing it in until mayors themselves start kissing their butts and giving them assurances that they won't be thrown as red meat for a mob to devour.

There are lots of good people in this country. And Cracker Barrel seems to attract them.

Also should say thanks to the restaurant and the cashier. Lot's of places the cashier would have put the money in their pocket and charged the officer again. My buddy and I paid for two cops dinner one night (he's an ex FBI agent). Something didn’t look right about the cashier's attitude so he walked out ahead. But he was actually watching through an outside window. Sure enough, he saw an hand hit a pocket.

An unpleasant scene did result, but it did not get as ugly as it could have.
