I think they peaked too soon - many people will have stopped feeling guilty for being white by Election Day.
I too am hoping there is a firm rebuke in November. History shows it is likely, but we live in strange times.
The Crown Heights riots and regime of Mayor Dink in NYC caused the election of Rudy G who turned the city around. The voters, even in NYC, decided they needed an adult in charge for a bit to save their city.
The real question that will be answered in November is “how much more leftists is our nation today” than it was only a decade or two ago? It is a hard question because the media and cultural forces definitely skew further left than ever before so it is hard to get a fair assessment.
I suppose we will find out. I would like to think that Americans will not vote to get rid of police, surrender to China, open our borders, support fascism, and strangle our economy, but what do I know?

Get woke-go broke. These business’s are catering to a fringe group and are paying for it in the market place. The employee’s may have to swallow the nonsense but the consumers don’t have to-and won’t.

I do have faith and have said the same thing many times here recently. Our media, this forum and others for political discourse, and our culture are capable of magnifying a few dozen people into an omnipotent mob.
However, we do live in strange times. Our nation has lurched further to the left in the last decade than I ever would have imagined and while I still have some optimism for the nation I am concerned about what my children and grandchildren will see in their lifetimes.

Right now, more than any time in modern history, we need a leader who is a teacher and communicator at the same time. On this front, I think Trump is failing.
He needs a completely new set of advisors. Led by somebody like Candace Owens. And he needs to let go of his pride and listen to them. And learn how to speak passionately when reading a prepared speech.

If Biden wins I wouldn't put it past him to try to send Trump to prison. No President has ever gone after a predecessor but the Democrats' hatred of Trump is so extreme that they will probably demand it. At the least he will be harassed endlessly with lawsuits, federal and state.
Thank you for your comments. I too believe our President is failing to connect emotionally. People are fearful. Instead of an angry war fighter that sounds like one, they are seeking a father figure. Better advisors. Better messaging. As Teddy said. Speak softly. Then pull out the big stick.

I more see it as ordinary Americans finally comprehending how they have been betrayed and damaged by these leftists (including the apparatchik media wankers at NBC CNN etc...) .
Most I doubt will make it as far as a lamppost — The mobs of outraged normal Americans will probably beat them to death immediately.
