That's still not a lot considering the indoctrination from all media including movies and tv that celebrate and show interracial couples.
Bump for inconvenient facts.
Race is an artificial construct.
Just going by some very public examples of biracial people, it seems like when a white and a black marry, the kids grow up and hate whitey (Colin K., Megan Markle, Deblasio’s weird daughter, Obama).
Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed advertisers act like there is a federal law requiring couples on TV ads be depicted as bi-racial.
I have a preference for Filipina’s or Latina’s
I like em mean as an alley cat...
I am genetically more black than Elizabeth Warren is Native American, but by culture and appearance I’m white. Who exactly sets the criteria here to define what is interracial?
"What is the racial breakdown of the U.S. population?
As of the latest census, the racial breakdown in the U.S. is as follows:
White: 76.9%
African American: 13.3%
American Indian: 1.3%
Asian: 5.7%
Native Hawaiian: 0.2%
More than 2 races: 2.6%"
I see that Hispanics count as "interracial" for the purposes of marriage, but count as White for total racial breakdown.
The why the bleep doesnt all the official school forms insist on you picking a race for your child and dont allow mixed? There is no advantage to picking white, the only racist color listed; every other ethnicity is named after an ancestral geographical term. We are only given a stupid color. There can be 10 different race boxes and all but one refer to an area of planet earth.
You people are such fools
My daughter’s best friend married a guy who happens to be black. We were asked to help coordinate logistics at the wedding.
I had never met him. When I did and found out he was black, I turned my back and walked away.
NO! I clapped him on the back, shook his hand and wished him the best. He’s a strong Christian man.
I met his dad at the wedding. He’s a very good man as well.
Truly not something I care about or even consider.
“11 % of white people marry someone of a different race today, compared to 4% in 1980.”
Still trying to understand what the other 89% (at least the men in that group) were thinking.
I have been visiting the Texas beaches since the end of April. It seems that nearly **all** the families I see are biracial. Everyone is getting along and having a great time from the great grandparents down to the bi-racial babies.
How many generations can racism be sustained with this going on?
We have been coming to the Texas beaches for many years. Due to the riots I am more sensitive this year to noticing inter-racial families.
I have a former colleague, a white girl who grew-up in rural Pennsylvania. Her husband is from the Caribbean. He is visibly black, but as he came from one of the world’s nautical crossroads his ancestry also includes Indian, Hispanic and Chinese blood. Their kids could literally tick every box on those stupid government forms.
