Economists on Wall Street are in a state of shock after the U.S. unemployment rates plummeted to 13.3% for the month of May. Dow Jones experts predicted unemployment rates would go the other way and rise to 19.5% with 8 million jobs lost. But their prediction fell way off the mark.

We won’t know the true number of jobs lost and gained for several months. Many were not “lost”. Just put on hiatus.

But , but, Joe Biden said Trump cannot take any credit for the turnaround. Joe Biden said, that Trump was responsible for the job losses in the first place, and because of that, he can’t claim credit that some of them have come back.

I wonder if that will be a campaign theme, that Trump caused job losses through his policies. The unemployment rate, economic activity, etc. will almost certainly be worse on election day than before this “black swan” event of the virus hit the world. I wonder how many will really buy this Democrat meme that Trump caused job losses so we can’t credit him for any improvements.

Exactly. People weren’t unemployed in the traditional sense. But it’s still a tribute to President’s Trump economy that things are off to this good a re-start after being shut down for so long.

In the end, COVID19 will probably end up doing less long term damage to the economy than Joe Biden did.

And that should be a campaign talking point.

Just goes to show the “Media” and “News” is FOS.

It hate to say it to some but I put a large sum in CBRL at 77.

They are hovering around 130 with 70% of their folks back on payroll.

They hate the President because they didn’t pick him.

The virus didn’t hurt Trump. Being labeled a white supremacist may. The media is running with it and suburban women are incredibly fickle.

They have come back foe him so many times and I thought he was Teflon. I still pray that he is.

I still don’t know how we can legitimately accept biden even if he won. We have a state-run media and I don’t see how we can’t revolt if he wins. This is like a communist country where the state-run media. We don’t accept elections like that in other countries, why should we accept the results of this one if it is indeed biden?

that 18% blacks voting for Trump, well black men at least, helped. We will need to see how all of this plays out and November is far away.

I am still optimistic that after the debates Trump will soar

Joe Biden is a disgusting old thief.

2nd term for the President means Ukraine is back on.

Biggest employment gains since 1939? WW2 started in 1939, by early 1942 we were all in. Pres Trump’s gonna start WW3! /s

Didn’t you hear about the latest Rasmussen poll?

Black support for Trump’s job performance has jumped to 40%.
