Only 60,000
A group of less than 60,000 NYC taxpayers are the ones keeping NYC's budget afloat.
Cuomo and de Blasio have probably cut that group down by economically chasing them out of the state.
To: Maudeen
right now, 96,919 have signed.
I still don't see how this can possible lead to an impeachment. It is just a big opinion poll -- unfortunately :(

Change.org is a commie leftist website.
It could be a ruse. Democrats are not going against their own, therefore, the intent of the petition is to show that there is no appetite for going against their favorite mayor.
The petition will NEVER get above 100,000, but if it does, it's going nowhere.

I’d sure like to know what New York state law has to say about impeachment or recall.

You can do better than that! Trump had a lot more than 60,000 before he even took office!

Id sure like to know what New York state law has to say about impeachment or recall. No such thing.
There is no provision of New York State law that would authorize a city or local government recall. An elected official is automatically expelled from office when they are convicted of a felony and may be removed if they are convicted of a crime "involving a violation of his oath of office."

Cuomo must have hit his head and realized everything is turning against him, he’s “allowing” the opening of outside restaurants tomorrow after wanting to postpone that another month.
