On Monday, May 25, 2020, George Floyd, a proud Black man, was killed by a member of law enforcement in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, Philando Castile, Emmett Till. The list goes on and on.
Prior to joining the Big Ten Conference as Commissioner and relocating to Chicago, my family had lived full-time in the Minneapolis area for over 15 years as I worked as an executive with the Minnesota Vikings in the National Football League. Our kids were raised in Minnesota and attended school in Minnesota before leaving for college and the people of the great state of Minnesota are part of the fabric of our entire family.

Actually, you must provide rational adult leadership and education to your student athletes. They aren't getting much of that in colleges today.
George Floyd, a proud Black man, porn star on meth and fenynal.........................
Why is it only blacks can have “proud” in front of their race? Asians are never said to be proud. Hispanics are never said to be proud. What makes a low life criminal druggie a “proud black man”?
If Warren were not racist himself, he wouldn’t be saying racist things.
Went to school with his sister who was married to John Shumate and his other sister was married to John Pitts, both former pro ball players.
They were a highly respected family in Tempe in the ‘70’s.
I shouldn’t be surprised what I am reading now with regard to his open letter.
So now all Big Ten sports teams will be 50-50 white and black?
Maybe 45-45-10 white black brown?
And the same for starters?
I’m for it.
Poor Emmitt, instead of resting in peace, folks just keep dragging his mutilated body out of storage year after year after year.
Going on 65 years since his murder and it still justifies the grievance crowd.
