Joe Biden chided a man about wearing a face mask outside while walking a dog in his first organized appearance on the short-form video app TikTok.

"Dave, what the hell?" Biden says to him through the headphones. "I told you to wear your mask outside."

The former vice president, 36-year Delaware senator, and presumptive Democratic presidential nominee then appears on the phone screen.

"You need to wear your mask outside. I don't care if you're just walking your dog," he said.

It's useful indoors when people are talking, singing, etc. There are well-documented super-spreading events for people spending a few hours together. When it is not useful is casual contact, 10 minutes or less.

An interesting observation has surfaced from the pandemic: how DUMB a large part of the population is.

Although a lot of them might also be dumb, the real problem is that the vast majority of people are sheep, born only to blindly obey. They will follow whomever they believe is in charge. The job of the non-sheep, is to BE in charge, so that they lead the herds away from stupid stuff like this. Unfortunately, the perceived leaders we have are either stupid or evil or both, but the sheep will still follow them.
