Ordering off the internet requires no mask. The lockdown has all but destroyed many businesses. If those same companies want to slit their own throats and spill the last drop of their economic lifeblood, then customers are free to make their own choices, arent they?
For sure wearing the mask has become very symbolic. You can see it here at FR. In my situation I only am forced to wear a mask 30-60 minutes a week so I can afford to be blase about it.
Kozak, wearing a band-aid while on the kiddie airplane ride in front of K-Mart does not qualify you as a “flight” surgeon”.
America is still free enough that you don’t have to wear a mask. That you can boycott businesses that compel you to. But you might be compelled to wear a mask if you have to go to Lowes or HD for something you really really need.
Theyre not requiring it now, so why would they later? If you think people are going to accept being forced to wear masks for two or three years youre nuts.
Masks and isolation are for the symptomatic, regardless of illness.
Businesses requiring masks might go the way of Kmart.
“people in some of the most locked down states ... signaling their opposition to Trump by wearing a mask.”
I don’t have a problem with that. A few months of them sucking their old cooties back into their small brains, and collecting their neighbors’ cooties, could work well for us in November.
Finally got a haircut yesterday. My barberette requested I did not wear a mask during the cut. Interferes with the haircut process.
Should have seen all the hair on the floor. Looked like a sheep shorning convention.
Not in Texas, or at least Houston. Ive never worn a mask in public, and no one has made a peep about it. Ive encountered a total of one sign, at an office building downtown, claiming masks were required. At peak, Ive seen masks on about 50% of customers at stores. Now its about 25%.
Adam Carolla did some shows at the Houston Improv this weekend and remarked about the lack of masks. As he put it, Texans are not afraid of their government.
Oooooooooo
I’m so scared of your finality! Not.
Statements from thugs like you are intended to stoke the fearper agenda, FEARPER.
You are no different that Kozak, except your more talkative.
Go hang out in a New York elderly care home...
If they aren't going to resist oppressive government, it's on them. If a local business chooses to open, I'll support them by buying their products and/or services. If they remain closed, c'est la vie.
I am in need of a good shearing as well.
As usual, youre not making any sense.
Offensive item of the day: a graphic observing Memorial Day featuring a group of veterans...all wearing masks. The Comchinks must be laughing their asses off.
“We had better accept them for a few years until the Covid-madness wears thin. Add churches to above list.”
No thanks. And the church I attend does not require them and most do not wear them. Face masks are the new “Save the whales” bumper stickers.
Asymptomatic people are not very contagious because they ARE without symptoms - and the symptoms are what spread the virus, by and large. If you avoid irresponsible people who cough, sneeze and have a fever, your odds are good. If you are below 65 and in decent health, your odds are very good even if you are exposed.
The very old and those with health issues - I have a couple of friends with compromised immune systems due to cancer - are a different case and should behave differently.
I don’t expect someone with a screen name of “Pubbie” to understand the concept of resistance.
I do expect people to articulate themselves clearly, and address their posts to comments already made.
If they aren’t going to resist oppressive government, it’s on them.
Who are you referring to, customers or business owners?
If a local business chooses to open, I’ll support them by buying their products and/or services.
If you want to patronize business requiring wearing a mask long after such guidelines have been lifted, good for you. Most people arent going to stand for it.
I fact most of the retail businesses where I live, you must wear a mask to enter.
Because the government will begin fining them and shutting them down via law they pulled out of their ass. I agree that a store owner can mandate a mask but these are people afraid of and knuckling under to out of control government.
