For many observers, the idea that the intelligence community would flout certain rules in order to investigate American citizens is news. But for former CBS reporter Sharyl Attkisson, “Obamagate” is just the latest development in a nearly decade-long battle.
“I would say I may not be one of the first victims, but I am one of the first people who was able to identify myself as a target of illegal spying under the Obama administration,” Attkisson told Mediaite in an interview this week. “I believe many, many others were spied on but do not know. It was only thanks to help from intelligence contacts that I even learned that government agents were spying on me. Otherwise, I never suspected it or would have known.”
Attkisson has long asserted that the feds wrongfully surveilled her electronic devices from 2011-14, part of an operation tied to her reporting on the Justice Department’s botched “Fast and Furious” gun-running scheme and, later, on the 2012 attack on the American embassy in Benghazi, Libya. A three-judge panel voted last year to dismiss a lawsuit she had filed over the issue, but in January, Attkisson moved to reopen the case, telling the court that a whistleblower had provided new information.
That information implicated five specific individuals, according to court filings — including Rod Rosenstein, a familiar target of Trump’s grievances. Court filings allege Rosenstein, who served as the Obama administration’s U.S. attorney for Maryland, “ordered the unlawful surveillance and hacking” of Attkisson’s devices. (He subsequently served as Trump’s deputy attorney general, a capacity in which he appointed Special Counsel Robert Mueller to investigate Trump’s staffers.)
Rosenstein has denied the charges, arguing that the case should not be allowed to proceed based on information miss the case. “

Let’s all keep avoiding looking at the elephant in the room.
Obama is not a natural born citizen.
After the usurpation he had free rein and he knew it.
The GOP has been forced to cover for him from the beginning of the crime wave with the guns to Mexican cartels, through IRS abuse, Iran cash, Benghazi, weapons to jihadists (that one the GOP helped with), and finally the crimes everyone is focused on, the attempt to first defeat and failing that to remove President Trump using every asset of the federal government, CIA, FBIA, NSA, etc.
All because they wanted to run ineligible candidates, too.
Obama was just doing what any enemy agent foreigner usurper would do, turn the entire government against the citizens and corrupt every agency.
Obama was everything the founders tried to prevent with the natural born citizen clause.
One can only NATURALLY be an American when one cannot be anything else.
Anyone born also something else is not NATURALLY an American.
Obama was born a British subject/Kenyan WHEREVER he was born.
We need a day of national sunshine. And disinfect this whole mess. The hell with sources and methods. Those have only become the sources and methods of our oppression. Exposing sources and methods might make future spies doing legitimate work very very wary of violating the trust of the American people. It’s way past time to expose this crap.A good place to start is JFK. There should be absolutely nothing classified from 1963. Let the chips fall where they may. Time to jerk HARD on the leash of this intel community dog.
The best thing that ever happened to Germany was the STASI database being completely exposed, and everybody finding out who the informants were, who the compromised politicians were, etc.

What’s more the JFK phone tapes (his own recordings, he installed the gear that eventually trapped up Nixon) should all have been released DECADES ago. They punted a few times and postponed release. Doubt we ever got all of the JFK tapes.
The LBJ tapes came out in the 1990s and provided evidence of corruption and quid pro quo deals in the Johnson white house (approving a bank merger in exchange for buying silence of criticism from newspapers about his policies).
The MLK tapes are still under wraps.

The real reason Obama is untouchable is that taking down Obama would expose that the GOP cooperated with the Democrats to violate the Constitution and everybody in DC except President Trump was complicit.
That has been his magic shield throughout his crime spree.
Not only has the GOP been forced to cover his crimes, they sometimes participated and now they are undermining a President of their own party.
Three Nationality Harris was born a Jamaican from her father, an Indian from her mother and a US citizen by accident of geography and a generous interpretation of the 14th.
Another citizen of the world and not naturally an American.
To be naturally an American one cannot be anything else.
That was essential quality the founders were choosing when they chose natural born citizen.

Obama was/is not a natural born American citizen, and everything he did, was harmful to the country, and all of its citizens. He was/is the enemy within.
But, why stop with Obama? We have had and have people in high positions in government who are doing the same kind of harm to the country, even if not as president. Who can deny that every senator’s vote on bills, and every congressperson’s vote on bills, and every decision they make, could be just as harmful to the country. There have been times when the single vote of a congressperson or senator, has made a big difference in getting bills passed and decisions made. In essence, a senator’s or congressperson’s vote can be just as damaging as what Obama did. We can at least make sure that no foreign-born senator or congressperson makes a life-or-death type decision for the country. And, I don’t care which party has foreign-born senators or congresspeople or governors/mayors, etc.
