Donated today to be able to ask other Freeper's opinion on when Trump should schedule a rally and how it should be done. I say that in a state that is fully open he should go ahead and also provide face masks.
Do it in Florida with Ron Desantis as his guest. Put it on the beach!

By the most sound accounts, Trump has a large lead over Biden in all swing states. Therefore, there is no need to have a rally. Just a victory lap on Air Force One.
Agree, it will happen when all restrictions are lifted, and probably a battleground state such as Florida.
Imagine if he did a rally at the same time as the Democrat convention? Assuming the Democrats even have their convention in Milwaukee, a Trump rally could provide some good counter programming.
If the Democrats have a virtual convention, I wonder if the media will cover it the same way as usual, with saturation coverage? Will they have Democrat after Democrat speak from their homes on a Facebook feed, and then feed it to MSNBC? I do wonder how that will work.
That may be a long way off. Trump gets his energy and stamina from rallies and I feel he must figure out a way to get them back.
I like that idea. He could always turn it virtual if necessary. I would just like to see how many request tickets.

Face masks at a MAGA rally is just a BAD visual.
He could buzz Manhatten like 0 did and scare the living daylights out of them there.

He should schedule a rally in the summer for the state that is most opened up. He should offer everyone masks, but make it know that as a free people it is up to every person if they want to wear one. The people should decide if they want to attend, if they want to wear a mask, if they want to shake hands, etc. They don’t need to be told how to behave.
I recently helped organize a backyard campout that drew about 20,000 people across all 50 states. We followed that up with a livestream of a recently released movie for a backyard movie night. About 40,000 participated in that.

MAGA might be better. I would love to see General Flynn as a guest even though he will still be under a gag order.
If he has a big rally and there is a breakout....it’s going to be looked at as a dumb move. Caution...Maybe outdoor screens so people can be spread out with a small arena for the President and a few guests.
True and it will be reported that there are covid cases from a rally whether they really exist or not.
