I recall Leo being on an episode of The Munsters as well.
bfl
are there any pot passers in the video?? Or a billy yard table??
I liked the ones with Jethro and the tank I couldn’t exactly work out the model.
Two best scenes of the series:
Jed thinks he should spiff up his act now that they are rubbing shoulders with BH society. He tells Jethro to grab a brick and scrape the rust off the truck and give it a nice thick coat of tar oil. Lol!
Pearl preparing Jethrine for a counting visit from Jasper Depew. Pearl advises Jethrine to play a particular piece on the pump organ as the piece requires the organist to cross hands while performing. The boys like that... says Pearl. Lol!!
The doorbell joke never got old.
Ellie was a drag on the series. The whole critter thing didn't cut it.
bump for the laughs
Related to nothing... my dad wrote Leo Durocher’s book, NICE GUYS FINISH LAST. My father, one of the sweetest men ever to walk the face of the Earth.. DETESTED Durocher. Honestly, the only time I ever heard him speak negatively of someone he wrote a book with.
Thanks...that was fun! I haven’t seen an episode in decades!
I hadn’t watched the Hillbillies forever but the other day I recorded one - Granny got all dressed up in surgical garb with Jethro as her assistant, planning to operate on Elly May’s bear because it had eaten what Granny thought was a love letter from Petticoat Junction.
That whole series was pure genius, theme songs included.
The character Jethro reminds me of somebody I work with.
Best one when Jed was going to go buy a yacht and by mistake ended up at the navy shipyard and he was dressed in an admirals uniform and the took the Clampets out for a cruise on a destroyer.
I always liked when Lester and Earl came to visit.
Current PC fail.
I’m partial to the episode where Granny was going to cut off Mr. Drysdale’s head & transplant it onto a monkey’s body at her kitchen table.
I had to stop your ball. I would’ve fallen into that there hole - Jethro
Can’t believe no one has posted this yet...”Whomp it Mr. Durocher!”
