There has been story upon story of people dying from “coronavirus” when in fact they died of other causes. I have heard of three such stories this week alone, two in the Bronx and one in Queens. The one I heard from a client just an hour ago was the most egregious. The client’s father was 88 years old and in a nursing home suffering from the terrible effects of Alzheimer’s. He also had diabetes and was a cancer survivor. Last December he stopped eating many foods he previously enjoyed as his condition was deteriorating. About a month ago he died in his sleep- the cause being cardiac arrest. Yet despite the doctor telling my client her dad had died of cardiac arrest, the cause of death was listed as “suspected COVID-19.” The doctors claimed he had developed a fever just days before he passed- their sole suspicion he died of the Chinese flu. My client protested as not only did she disagree the cause of death was coronavirus but now alternate plans would have to be made for his funeral. She is a legal Hispanic immigrant who, while understanding the passing of her dad was best to end his suffering, is more furious at the deception and lies listed as his cause of death.
I am sorry the person suffered so much at the end regardless of the final cause.
But it DOES matter that numbers are being fudged.
Because an entire economy was shut down because of it.
People must think it’s mayhem here in NYC
It couldn’t be less true.
I know NO ONE who has it and like I said, no one who KNOWS someone who had it, or at least had it bad enough to show symptoms.
I wear a mask nowhere and the cops have been in the delis with me and not said a word.
But then south shore Staten Island really doesn’t resemble the cities of manhattan and brookyn in many ways.
I heard obama’s side of the island got hit a little hard.
I suspect because they stated CV19 as the cause, she now has to cremate her father, is that a correct assumption?
Every medical provider is doing the same thing. Reporting the presence of CV bugs as the reason for death. Everywhere. So the only conclusion is that the edict came from the top, the CDC, or one of those non-practicing doctors who are gaining fame and fortune from their TV exposure.
So, what is the situation there? Are all the businesses closed?
The case of the 88 year old man from a nursing home who died in his sleep of cardiac arrest, needs to be made public outside this forum, possibly by the client from whom you received the report getting in touch with someone in some friendly news media venue. Sharing it as from only this forum will get it read outside of this forum as “hearsay” and not respected enough.
All of the delis in my neighborhood are open 24/7.
The big stores are all open with reduced crowds allowed in.
Almost very restaurant has take out or delivery.
Got my inspection done at a garage that had regular hours the other day.
It’s the SMALL businesses that are being clocked.
Barbers, gyms..those places are getting clocked.
It’s ridiculous and cruel.
I’ve never seen so many businesses destroyed for no good reason at all.
And the chinese restaurants have been utterly wrecked.
The “news” says a lot of people want chinese food but if that was the case, deliveries would have kept them in business.
I can’t imagine there’s much danger in ordering from them. I could be wrong.
I guess people figure why take the chance.
This is hearsay, but it’s trustworthy and truthful.
A customer where my girlfriend works got a bit emotional discussing his recently deceased wife yesterday.
She battled brain cancer for a year and passed not long ago. The cause of death on her certificate was, you guessed it, covid-19. She did not have any kind of cold, flu, or the like.
He was livid about it and when he questioned it he was told that because she’d had the flu two years ago (long before the cancer diagnosis), and the flu is a type of coronavirus, they put covid-19 on her death certificate.
Further, this same guy’s nephew, who lived in another state, committed suicide recently. He had lost his job, his apartment, and face-to-face contact with his friends because of the overblown response to the virus. He became despondent and ended his life.
His cause of death was also recorded as covid-19 because “that’s what caused his depression”.
It boggles the mind, the amount of dishonesty and manipulation in the world all for the sake of money and/or power.
i didn’t get into the details cause she was upset. She became very upset after i told her why they put “death by suspected COVID-19” on the death certificate- they were using her dad’s passing for financial gain.
most are- yes. There was a huge supermarket two blocks from her which is now “temporarily closed” and she doesn’t know why. The is a huge chinese population in the area (Corona, Queens). They owned the supermarket. I told her I suspect they were probably getting a lot of grief.
Well, you guys hang in there. Your tale is similar to one being told around the country. I think more and more every day, people are waking up to the fact that the cure is actually worse than the disease.
Most people read these stories about mom and pop’s getting hammered and they think there is no collateral damage. What they fail to realize are all of the banks that loaned them the money to fund their operation.

I wonder if one day when all this settles down, will the feds investigate the cause of death of every COVID 19 death?

My SIL’s best friend who works at a nursing home on LI has just finished recovering from it. I think she got a cough and fever but not much more than that. I don’t know if she received any sort of treatment like HCQ or antibiotics though.
I am glad she recovered. Somebody working in that capacity is much more likely to get it.
Cuomo has a lot of blood on his hands
He absolutely does. My husband’s aunt has been in assisted living on LI for several years. She was a spry lady, very independent, and very smart. To my knowledge she didn’t have any super big health problems, and didn’t require round the clock care, just someone to check in on her from time to time. Well, someone in her facility died from CoVid after coming back from the hospital. So they tested the whole facility. Our aunt tested positive though she had no symptoms. She was quarantined from the other people, no more common areas for her. A few days later she said food didn’t taste good anymore, and she stopped eating. Then developed a fever. Then it went full bore on her. Eventually her kidneys began to shut down. She passed a couple of weeks ago, at the end of April. She was 90, almost 91. I hold Cuomo responsible. She may have not lived many years more, but who knows? She was the type that I thought might live to be 100.
