There could hardly have been a more terrifying place to fight a fire than in the belly of the Losharik, a mysterious deep-diving Russian submarine.
Something, it appears, had gone terribly wrong in the battery compartment as the sub made its way through Russian waters 250 miles north of the Arctic Circle on the First of July. A fire on any submarine may be a mariners worst nightmare, but a fire on the Losharik was a threat of another order altogether. The vessel is able to dive far deeper than almost any other sub, but the feats of engineering that allow it do so may have helped seal the fate of the 14 sailors killed in the disaster.

Russia says it plans to fully restore the sub and put it back into service. Not everyone seems worried about that.
Joining the Russian navy is like juggling lit dynamite.
Could be worse, you could join their space program (60’s edition)
“Joining the Russian navy is like juggling lit dynamite.”
Are the Russians pushing the equipment to, or past the design limits? Or defective components/ poor workmanship?
Both???
The Russians have made secret contact with life forms from outer space, living at the depths of the oceans. Since the aliens do not have legal status to be on earth, the Russians are concerned the illegal aliens may get deported before they can fully extract the space travel knowledge necessary for extended stays in space.
I have proof that this is true and have seen examples of their earth formed bodies that allow them to be seen in society. Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton to name a couple.
Very dangerous in situations where failure = catastrophe. Like on a submarine. Or a spacecraft.
