CREAM RIDGE, NJ Governor Phil Murphys administration today shut down the drive-through tulip farm in Cream Ridge, but allowed the owners to continue selling their tulips to their customers for curbside pickup.
Owner Casey Jansen said his family owned farm makes about a one million dollar annual investment into planting tulips to operate the annual drive-through. This week, he was relayed a message from Attorney General Gurbir Grewal, No drive through allowed.
We planted all these tulip bulbs in the months of October and November. Thats when we make the investment, and my investment is just about a million dollars, Jansen said in an interview with NJ.com.
Meanwhile, out in Gloucester County, the Dalton Farms tulip drive-through, which is booked solid through the weekend has given a pass by Murphys administration.
Jansen claims that he received a letter from the state threatening that two New Jersey State Police officers would be at his farm to arrest him if a single car drove through his field.
So, lets all show this company some Jersey Shore support
visit their Facebook page and order your tulips there this year!
Murphy is a thug

The silver lining of this covid-19 disaster is that one-party, leftist states like NJ, IL and NY will be the first to go bankrupt (insolvent)
That is, of course, unless the Federal Reserve or Fed.gov bail them out ..
Tulips sink vaccine chips?
I was going to get my girl flowers.. but the light turned green.
If this was Chris Christie it would be the lead in the news. Since it is a Democrat. Silence.
Am I reading this correctly? Same state, same business, one is allowed to operate and the other is not?
One is a big ‘rat party member, the other isn’t
Draconian measures for a flu, by government without law.
Rat (and RINO) Governors are loving this like you wouldn’t believe!
Where is Tiny Tim when you need him?
They make poor decisions and then like a certain female presidential candidate after its over will try to find someone to blame.
No doubt. Gives new meaning to ‘picking winners and losers’ - surely not a Constitutional order, no equal protections for the closed farm. They should sue. Won’t get a court date for months but the point has to be made.
These kinds of orders are what is driving the protests. Yes people want to get back to life and work, but these capricious decisions about what is allowed and what isn’t cause more suspicion and skepticism by the citizens. Governors are abusing their “emergency powers”. Michigan’s silly rules for example. You are stuck at home, and can go to walmart but can’t buy supplies to make home improvements. You can sail but not motor. You can go to protest but you can’t go to your 2nd home. Nonsense stuff.
