Recently, and not for the first time, the comedian’s public persona has appeared to be at odds with her private actions
Ellen wants everyone to ‘be kind’ – maybe she should rethink what that means
“Be kind” Ellen DeGeneres says at the end of every episode of her eponymous show. There’s a BE KIND Ellen hat. A BE KIND wine tote. A BE KIND subscription box. There are even BE KIND face masks – so you can try killing the coronavirus with kindness.
Shockingly, it seems that DeGeneres might not always practice what she preaches: crew members on her talkshow are reportedly furious over the not-so-kind way they’ve been treated during the coronavirus crisis. According to Variety, the core stage crew for the Ellen DeGeneres Show are frustrated that they haven’t received written communication about the status of their hours or pay. They were also less than thrilled to discover, via social media, that an outside, non-union, tech company had been hired to help DeGeneres film her show remotely from her home. This stung as DeGeneres had recently announced on-air that she wanted to start filming again as soon as possible so she could support her staff and crew.
DeGeneres isn’t personally responsible for every aspect of how her show is run, of course. But it certainly seems like a woman who is reportedly worth more than $330m and is one of the highest-paid stars on television, earning more than $50m a year, could be doing rather more to support the people who work under her. Particularly as many of her crew have worked on the show since it started 17 years ago. It’s worth noting that Jimmy Kimmel Live! stagehands, according to Variety, were paid from Kimmel’s own pocket during initial coronavirus shutdowns.

Ellen is deep in the Cabal game. And it's too bad. In the 90s, she was a brilliant comedian with a hit show, until she had to go all carpet munching on everyone. That's why Anne Heche dumped her. She missed the you-know what.

She bought a perfectly good dog food company, HALO, and destroyed it in a shockingly short amount of time.
Used to be good kibble and now it’s crap...at twice the price.

True story: I met Rosie O after a comedy show that she did in a small venue in a small Upstate NY town. Before she “made it big”, but after she had done a bit part in a sitcom that was moderately popular back when.
She and the ventriloquist (I forget his name but he was great) who opened ended up going out to a local dance club when their show was done. My ex and I were there. So, we went over to say hello.
She was an ass. Just rude as could be, rolled her eyes when we said that we enjoyed her show. BAD person. So my ex and I turned our backs to her and began chatting with the ventriloquist, who was super nice. She started kind of begging to get us to pay attention to her again - she was jealous. What an ass. I’ve never met such a jerk in my life!
They are attacking her because she sat with Republican GWB.

wow. that really sucks. there aren’t that many really good and healthy dog food makers that are relatively affordable.

Ellen Degenerate is a bitter Lesbian leftie who knows how to smile for TV audiences.
She’s never gotten over losing Anne Heche to a hetero husband & family and belongs to an urban hostile culture.
Earthborn Holistic is really good.
The boy is on the Venture versions due to allergies that popped up when he ate the “new” Victor formulas.
I used to love Victor but they went to hell in a handbasket.
First, my boy reacted with full body hives and then his sister had trouble, too.
