Tucker Carlson had China analysts on his program Friday night. One had been a field operative for a spy agency. The other had been a Chinese analyst for a U.S. intelligence agency and is now a China analyst for Fox.
They stated that China isolated people from Wuhan, but just from the rest of China. Flights from Wuhan destined for Chinese destinations were shut down. Roads in and out of Wuhan were shut down. But international flights in and out of Wuhan were allowed to continue even though the epidemic was going full bore in Wuhan. -- Think about that! What could they possibly have been thinking?
Backing up in time, it is now known that the medical community in Wuhan had told the Chinese government that the virus could be transmitted from person to person during the first half of December. The existence of the epidemic was known to the outside world. The government of China lied and said there was no danger of human to human transmission. The W.H.O. repeated their lie, which is only one of the reasons that President Trump has pulled their funding.
International Wuhan flights continued through January.
The Chinese government admitted that there was human to human transmission on January 20. The first U.S. case was confirmed that same week. By January 31, President Trump had halted most flights from all of China. [Taking a lot of grief for his decision.] President Trump undoubtedly knew about the duplicity of the Chinese and the W.H.O.
So, we now know that the Chinese Communist government purposefully exported the virus to the world. The Fox China analyst said he cannot imagine any other interpretation of the above facts. He thinks that it was a calculated effort to do economic harm to the west.
I suspect that after the U.S. is on the road to recovery that President Trump, Boris Johnson of the U.K., and the Italians, are going to have a significant confrontation with China. The aftermath could be more serious than the pandemic.

I must have, i watched the entire thing. I am more intrigued by the guy he had on a night or two before. I had never heard of this “Gain of Function” research but add that to “escaped from containment” and suddenly the entire thing becomes clear. This virus in NOT from Nature. It is a manipulated “Gain of Function” virus. Not found in nature. Which is why it is quantum levels above contagiousness and lethality over “wild Coronavirus” which, as my old text books said, “not felt to represent significant clinical disease.”
My reading about Gain of Function Research has pretty well convinced me this is a manipulated virus. Perhaps not an “engineered bioweapon” but a “Super Bug” created as a research tool. A tool realized to be SO dangerous we had a moratorium on research with it here from 2016 until 2019. Research that curiously now we discover to be funded by Bill Gates and George Soros (and the nIH, of course).
Whenever I've said something along this line over the past couple of months, everyone seems to assume that it comes out of hostility to China or communism. That is absolutely not the case; it's simply meant as a deterministic assessment of what seems to be the inevitable outcome of a hostile gesture.
That said, failure to properly respond will be an invitation to further attacks from the enemies of the west.

As much time as we all spend on FR, we often miss whole segments of information. I was on FR when the great moose caper started but I totally missed the original postings and to this day have no idea what it was about. (no one needs to inform me either:)

Exactly what I’m saying. This family of virus never caused a human disease until “someone” started “tinkering” with it. At least that sure is the way it appears. I have a link to “Everything you ever wanted to know about Coronavirus”. It’s all I can do to read it.

the National Institutes of Health announced that it is lifting a funding pause dating back to October 2014 on gain-of-function (GOF) experiments involving influenza, SARS, and MERS viruses.
This is probably why the inspectors of the Wuhan center were so appalled by the poor containment techniques being applied
