Is anyone else having problems downloading podcasts from Rush Limbaugh's app for the iPhone? I am a subscriber to Rush's program, but his app does not download the daily podcasts onto my iPhone 6 Plus. software version 12.4.5
I can download Howie Carr, Car Talk, and any other podcast on another 3rd party app called Podcasts.
Premier Radio Service is the worst customer service I have ever encountered. They don't respond for days. One guy sent me an email with his phone number but he is never at his desk to take my calls. Another guy wrote me that they can't do anything because it is a developer's problem. If that's the case why don't they tell you this before you subscribe ? Well, I know the answer to that.
I took my phone to an Apple phone repair shop, and the guy said it has to be an app/developer problem.
So I am asking if others have experienced download problems with the Rush App? I can download the podcasts from Rush's website on my Mac desktop computer and transfer to my iPhone.
But it sure would be easier to direct download onto my iPhone 6 Plus.
Thank you for any responses from the great Freeper Republic.
I have had good luck with responses directly from Rush’s email help address. Try that. However, the problem with Apple is that you only can do what Apple WANTS you to do. Maybe they don’t want you to download Rush anymore. /s

I hope folks dont miss your /s sarcasm tag.
I just succeeded in downloading Rushs first hour show from yesterday. It worked fine on my iPhone 6 Plus.
However, I always use the Rush app download option instead of its On Demand option. This is how I get a bunch of shows for use on airplanes when I cant connect to the Internet.
Hope this helps.
I had the same problem a while back. I deleted the app, reinstalled it, and it’s been fine ever since. I usually download the podcasts at night and listen to them in the morning at work.
The Rush Limbaugh app has been the worst for streaming of all apps Ive used. By far.
The spinning cursor frequently just never ends and the stream never starts. Ive got two vehicles where I frequently can get no stream started via Bluetooth to the car sound system. Sometimes quitting all other apps and restarting the phone gets it going again, but not always.
Ive found the podcast section works better than the on demand section.
Other streaming apps (especially the Apple Podcasts app, but also Spotify and YouTube) work flawlessly in areas with mediocre reception solid uninterrupted streams.
The Rush app is such a disappointment especially given how wealthy he is. I hate that he brags about it so much when basic reliability is so poor.
The customer support has been useless, too. I just resigned myself to a crappy, unreliable, spotty service.
Any word on Rush’s offer to turn over his slot to the Donald? This will adequately replace the rallies now that they are no longer possible.
Rushs app is nothing but a pain in the APP to me as well. I wish it were better but it needs much attention.
Just as an aside, you realize that Customer Service everywhere is a nightmare because people are not working, working for home is clunky, and staffs are reduced.
Can’t you download his podcasts from his web site?
The CS for the Rush app is the worst I have ever encountered. I had an issue with my subscription and it honestly took a month for them to straighten it out.
Thank you for the suggestion. Tried re-installing too in the past and that hasn’t worked. Glad it worked for you. It’s really mystifying as to why it works for some and not for others.
Hi. Yes I can download on his website and transfer to my iPhone like I had mentioned. It’s just an extra step that shouldn’t be necessary considering that I am paying for mobile service.
As for Customer Service overload, I signed up for two years on Jan 27th of this year with numerous emails to CS over the past nearly 3 months with no result.
One service representative responded by giving me his phone number but he is never there and no calls are returned upon leaving messages.
HI and thanks. That is what I try to use - the download option on the Podcast link.
I don’t see a way to download podcasts using the “On Demand” option.
I forgot to mention that I do not have any data roaming service on my phone.
I rely totally on WIFI at home or WIFI establishments.
The only answer I see so far is to purchase roaming charges to access the podcasts “On Demand.”
HI and thank you for commenting.
How did you get it straightened out? I’ve been at it for 11 weeks now.
Do you have a contact for the customer service representative who helped you?
Where was the problem ? What did they do ?
Thank you very much for any additional information.
I used the Download (cloud picture) in the Podcasts area this morning and the whole hour came down.
There is no way to use On Demand to copy an hour onto your phone.
That’s just it. I want to COPY the hourly segments onto my phone so that I can listen to them in areas that do not have WIFI.
Maybe I wasn’t clear. I can listen to the podcasts at home with my WIFI on my iPhone 6.
What I can’t do is go outside and listen to them. I need to download and copy them on my phone which I have been unsuccessful with so far other than copying and syncing with my phone and computer.
Rush’s APP should let me copy his programs and keep/copy them so that I can listen to them in non-WIFI areas other than buying another phone data roaming cost from AT@T or other cellular service.
Thats how it works for me. I download 3-4 hours of podcasts in the Rush app before the plane takes off, then go into Airplane Mode.
The app works just like that.
