I started taking Quercetin from elderberries and Zinc in a supplement form. Whether it’s a placebo or works, doesn’t matter as long as it doesn’t do harm. The peace of mind ‘placebo effect’ that I am trying something is good enough. Just don’t take too much zinc or it causes other problems.I think 50mg of zinc a day it the max recommended, but do your own due diligence.
I take “One A Day” Men’s 50+ vitamins (I’m over 50 years old). The Zinc is listed as 24mg...which is 160% of the daily requirement.
No problems...been taking it for years.
What is really needed in this country is a bunch of Medical Schools where they teach Homeopathy. I would imagine they will be appearing soon. Investors take note. Its a 100% growth field.
...I started taking Quercetin
Yup,
Vitamin D3 5000u
Vitamin C 1gm
Quercetin 500mg
Zinc 100mg
Taking handful of pills each morning.
Be aware that Quercetin inhibits Vitamin C absorption...so if you’re taking HIGH Vit C doses, don’t take too much Quercetin......fwiw.....
