MLB players’ union has been discussing a handful of potential neutral stadiums that could host baseball games to restart the 2020 season, New York Yankees pitcher Zack Britton said Wednesday.
Britton told MLB Network Radio that about five sites have been talked about in meetings about potentially getting the season back up and running. The season was suspended and Opening Day was delayed because of the coronavirus outbreak.

“I know there's sites that have already been discussed -- I'm not sure if I should even say this publicly -- but there's four or five sites that are up in the air that MLB and the union have slightly discussed that these are spots that have the resources, facilities, hotels that could host a major-league team if we get to that point,” Britton said in the interview.

I agree. Anything to remind people of what normal life is like will help move those suffering from the panic- and hysteria-induced emotional paralysis caused by the Chinese virus and the panic zealots in the media and social media.

I doubt they’ll want to be piling 45,000 people into Yankee Stadium anytime soon.

theres still 150 million Americans still working..im sure they can put on baseball games with no fans...talk about hysteria...annoying as hell.
I would not be so sure. Depends on COVID-19 status and if players and perhaps fans can be assured of reasonable safety.

Anything to keep from breaching their contracts with the networks. If they can schedule a 30 game season they can argue to the courts that they did their best and should be paid for the season.
Well don’t come to Warren, Michigan. The parks and rec kicked out 6 old guys yesterday who were simply taking softball batting practice on one of their fields.......
Play them all in American Samoa. Or Antarctica.
