President Trump is correct to attribute the origin of the novel coronavirus pandemic to China.
Looking more closely, it’s China's ruling Communist Party (CCP) that has sickened Chinese people – and by extension the world. It’s the totalitarian nature and callous dishonesty of the Chinese Communist Party that has brought about this public health catastrophe
The novel coronavirus should therefore be called the “CCP virus” to accurately reflect its origin.
Let's start with pinpointing the root cause of the suffering we have seen.
Let’s start calling the novel coronavirus the CCP virus.
I think we get the message across just as well calling it the Wuhan Virus. Wuhan is the unmistakable origin of it, and there is no mistaking where Wuhan is located, and no misunderstanding of who rules there.
This was broached by another FReeper last week I think, and I for one don’t like the idea.
Example; Kentucky Fried Chicken was under the gun from the left because their food was deep fried, so they changed their name from Kentucky Fried Chicken to simply KFC. By doing so the connotation of deep fried, therefore unhealthy disappeared.
Today ask a young person what KFC stands for, and realize the answer to your proposal. We have to remember history to avoid recurrence.

But is was the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) that hid this from the world in DECEMBER and allowed it to get out of control. It was the CCP that has also been covering up the true magnitude of deaths ( urns from funeral homes ) since early March. It is also the CCP that ordered residents of Wuhan to be WELDED into their homes without any supplies to die to get the situation under control in February.
Yes, the CCP will, despite their attempts to re-write history, go down as the 21st century’s version of the Nazi Germany.

No longer - Trump has stopped calling it China Virus. He also now says Chi is a good friend and he has a great relationship with him.
There was absolutely no reason for the Chinese to do this unless it was bio research or bio weapon research that escaped their labs. It is really that damn simple. This virus has some unique properties. It is contagious for weeks before the infected even has symptoms. This facet makes it ideal as a bio weapon. Ebola was a very unsuccessful virus. It was most deadly and killed most infected. The symptoms of Ebola infection were apparent at the onset and thus isolation worked. It is not so with this corona virus. The kill rate of this corona virus is rather low. However, it is wrecking economic havoc in the Western World. It is a very successful virus be it natural of by the hand of man.
