In honor of the conservative Christian singer's 80th birthday today I'm posting her 1964 top 100 hit song. The video also features a nice photo montage of her.

80! Anita was one of the first nationally known entertainers victimized by the Gay Mafia. I still recall being stunned at how quickly the orange juice companies just dropped her sponsorship, as though she was a hot potato.

On her birthday last year OK Governor Kevin Still issued a state citation declaring her birthday to be Anita Bryant day in her honor. I say good for him.

The guy who threw the pie said he was with the “International Pieface Conspiracy.”
