More folks at home = more 911 calls from home?

CINCINNATI - Local advocates said they are seeing an increase in calls to domestic violence hotlines since people began self-isolating due to coronavirus.
With Ohio under a Stay At Home order Monday night, they worry things will only get worse.
"We're really concerned about survivors right now," president and CEO of Women Helping Women, Kristin Shrimplin said.
Cincinnati-based Women Helping Women works to combat gender-based violence.
"We looked at a snapshot of what we were seeing with hotline calls just even last week compared to this week," Shrimplin said. "We're already starting to see about a 30% increase there."

Panic behavior of an epidemic. People with no dignity. People who have been raised to think there is no rational reason for civilized behavior. People you would not wish to share a foxhole with.
And the young and the restless, who don’t have the self-discipline to control themselves, want the special privilege of being social-social on wheels (drunk, stoned, butt hunting in resorts, etc.) and threatening the lives of a large part of the population.
The drug and divorce/cohabitation paradigm was a big societal mistake. Libertines stink (literally, without toilet paper now).
Married life: there’s my life, there’s your life, and then there’s our life.
Wives who live second lives, stinted joy. Men who have a side interest, kept short.
And then, you have those that are:
Polyamorous and pansexual, i.e., it’s adult, therefore, attractive, no holds barred!
Burning the village to save it.
Speaking for myself, pols scare me a heckuva lot more than WuFlu.
I’m sensing another fake ‘men beat their wives more on football night’ horsecrap....

The winter months and SAD always bring out the worst in people.....
State by state deaths (which can be easily fudged,,,attributed to CoVid-19 divided by cases ...which can be easily fudged...attributed to CoVid-19) or deaths divided by population of that state. Do that math. STAT. SHUT DOWN A NATION PROPAGANDA SUPER SPREADERS.
LARGEST PSYOPS in world history. Should be open season on ‘rats and propagandists for the damage they have done, the anxiety, stress and destruction they have caused.

I fear the old will face retribution. I can now see social security being reformed and cut because of this event, those in the 20's an 30's aren't going to put up with the BS much longer.
Or just a lot of piece of s*** men like there have always been. do all of us want to count family members or friends that we know have put hands on a woman?
Boy the old and grumpy around here are very judgemental of the younger folks :-)

A fear virus has been injected into the citizens of the nation by SUPER SPREADERS. An electronic curtain has descended over the republic.

On lockdown, would you:
A: Spend time with your wife and child, or....
At the end of this we’ll probably see an equal number of divorces and new babies made. I guess confinement can go either way.
1) Cut down on the drinking.
2) Women, I know you have a ready-made list of everything that’s ‘wrong’ with your man but now is not the time for that debate. Don’t go there.
3) If the police have to get involved, it’s the man going to jail - a stinky, unwiped, germ-infested holding cell with a bunch of people you don’t know of very questionable hygiene (unless of course you’re in New York which means they’ll let you back out in 15 minutes).
4) Even the Bible says “It is better to live on the corner of a roof than in a house shared with a contentious woman” (Prov. 21:9, Prov 25:24). Men, if you need a “time out”, go to the garage or the backyard. Or get in the car and lock the doors.
Trump was correct last night. We can’t perform static analysis based solely on the effects of the virus.
