It’s an anti-imflammitory, isnt it?

That’s what they say. Also supposed to be good for stress. I’ve been putting it in my coffee. Not bad.

Yeah. I take curcumin to reduce inflammation from a herniated disc. It usually takes care of the problem so I don't need to go in for a prescription for steroids. Taking it with aspirin and black pepper increases uptake from your digestive system.

Many years ago some guy had an Ibizan Hound dying from Valley Fever [coccidioidomycosis] and the vets could do nothing.

I told him to give her turmeric and she was well again in a week.

Show dog...she had a litter of pups 4 months later.

Useful for some things, I reckon.

Yep. There will be nay-sayers, but all I can say is, I started taking it for my plantar fasciitis, my aching hip, back and finger joints, and it helps a lot. I had my doubts but was desperate for some relief and wanted to get some function back. Took several weeks but then noticed the achey places weren’t so noisy and I was functioning better. Wow! I can walk the dog without being miserable! I’m not constantly aware of aches and pains. So I’m sticking with it.
